Love the trap style drums, echoing synths and religious sounding organs...It's like a modernized version of her first record, with a new wave edge...the whole album is a masterpiece
Yes i agree! its like a stripped-back modern version of Born to Die. It sounds simpler but more complex in song structure at the same time doesnt it

I agree, although I always felt like Honeymoon gave off more of a 50s and 007 cinematic vibe mixed with the more slow/jazzy tones while Born to Die had that 50s cinematic element as well but it was combined with more of a pop/hip hop sound, making Born to Die feel more modernized, in my opinion.
So now you have to listen the Blackest Day versión Demo instrumental. It’s kind of horror and dark cinematographic

So there was this guy .
We went through so much shit together . In the end he chose to leave me . We still live really close to each other . I saw him at the liquor store and when I looked into his eyes this instrumental played in slow motion in my head .
