Thirty years ago. Wow, I was delivering stuff all over Wa state during the time these videos were shot. I am actually in the Kingston hwy 104 vid coming the other way in the white Toyota truck. I remember seeing the DOT truck going the other way , it had the camera in a big black box above the cab. I notice that there is so much less traffic than today. Homelessness in Seattle was not even a thought. No tents, no garbage, no graffiti like today. It was such a simple time, but there were the last of the analog years. By the late 90s, things were changing very quickly
Ohh, did anyone notice the mid 60s dark colored Mustang was making a left when the camera was northbound, they flipped a u ball and heading south the Mustang is back on the road again, in the right lane
This was part of a WSDOT project that photographed/videotaped the states highways every couple of years. The videos now reside at The Washington State Archives who were kind enough to share it.
@highwayvideos3434 , oh, that's awesome!!! I noticed the voice was different people. I've been sharing these. They are so cool. Funny, but I imagined this was like, a relative that passed away or something ha ha.
@@highwayvideos3434 Ahhhh that explains it, thank you I was thinking some odd family really loved documenting the area haha. Great work uploading these they are wonderful. I remember how empty the roads were just going back to like 2010 and before.

What's the story with all of these? Just a hobby, back in the day?
