Scrap Clay Sunflower Cane and Buttons

A friend asked for some sunflower buttons for a cardigan she was knitting (it's fabulous!) and I decided I'd build the cane and buttons from mostly scrap clay. I have a bunch of scrap that needs using up and here's one project.
