Parking GM Newlook Fishbowl buses

After washing the two vintage Vancouver GM Fishbowl buses at the Transit Museum Society the buses are driven around a building on the shared area to line them up for the bay they are parked in. Both buses are different to drive.
4612 is a 1964 TDH-4519. Part of the first order of Newlooks for Vancouver.
6V71N and VS2-6. No power steering.
4107 is a 1982 T6H-5307N. Part of the final order of Newlooks for Vancouver. These had a larger engine for the hilly routes. Called Hillclimbers.
6V92TA and V730. Power Steering. This bus was undergoing inspections after being in storage. The inside engine cover is off and this bus is extra loud inside. One panel was not secured and falls down when the bus was driven.

Ever since I was a small kid I wanted to drive a Fishbowl. My career took me in another direction but I finally got to once, for TransLink's trainablility test when they had a Fishbowl for it. Childhood dream come true!

My father is at the wheel. Yes that 1964 did not have power steering.

Acho lindos os ônibus americanos,desde os urbanos aos rodoviários,mas só os conheço através dos filmes e vídeos do UA-cam,e o som dos Detroit Diesel é música para meus ouvidos. Aqui no Brasil nossos ônibus urbanos são muito simples e a motorização somente Mercedes,Scania,Volvo,Volkswagen(Cummins ou MAN) e raríssimos Iveco.🇧🇷✌🏻

These were both Canadian built. The newer bus has been out a few times this year to community events. Over the winter it is going to be converted into a mobile museum and a theatre in the rear will show historical transit videos from BC.

We have two of them. The 1964 is from the first order and the 1982 is the final order for the Vancouver BC area.
