The problem with table tennis in India is there are no leagues to churn players and most existing Indian players develop attitude before class, they don't play with each other, it's a common problem even among non ranked good players

Not sure why people are sooo demotivating Indian players here ... if you are sooo good then why you are not in Indian team .. also the level of facilities we have as compared to China i think we are still better than other part of world .. dont demotivate our players atleast for Nation :)
Table tennis is something where you have to enhance your skill by playing different kinds of players. Sometimes you may be really good but then one opponent will come, who overall may be not as good as you, but will have a shot for which you will not have a reply. Our first player here has good block and reflex and top spin, not a good serve..shouldn't foul on serves at least. Poor non playing hand position, at least while receiving serves, slightly poor backhand but may be a bad day. Should have variety in service, may be he has but scared to try in a match. Should have more match practices with different serves to get condidence to serve differently.. above all body language..should display that we are here to win and it will not be a surprise if I win after all i am a pro player and practicing day and night for this moment..should not shake head after losing point..forget and move on to next point..
After every missed shot Indian players will shadow practice that shot , it happens at all levels. The body language is weak compared to the chinese , also the flair is missing , not so much fun to watch , rigid stiff. Just an observation of a spectator .
