Nice! I ordered this same unit yesterday, JPT MOPA M7, only with the source and marking table joined and with the rotary table, I didn't want to risk stresses on the joiner cables between the fibre source and the table. I ordered from Aliexpress/Top CNC Store after a couple of weeks investigating. specs are a bit sketchy on the product page but it's same as yours at half the price. I selected the 300 x 300 lens but I also added the 50 x 50 and a 150 x 150. Freight is quoted at just over a month. However the Xtool 40 watt diode laser just being released looks like it has almost the same damage with vertical cut over the whole bed. I'm excited though, 60 Watts MOPA JPT from all the reviews I've seen looks fantastic for precision metalwork, and metal marking, I couldn't quite justify the cost of a fibre thunder laser considering most of my work will be DIY R&D. I'll try with easycad3. Inkscape is a pretty good option for the graphics creation, and/or GIMP, both free.
I do believe this will be my first investment! Thanks for a great and comprehensive review!

Please don't laugh of my question but.. I am very new to this, and I have seen someone I think says that a 30w would cut metal, but what can a 50w cut? What metal thickness (it it can)?
50W fiber laser engraver can cut thin metal no more than 1mm(0.039in)

What is opinion on this laser compared to a similar one with auto focus bt it is a E instaed of an R. I did watch your followup with the R being better, but no auto focus. Your thoughts please.

I would of been interested to know what can be done with this machine? relief engraving to depth etc? materials
