Ylvis is actually so underrated, always associated with their super hit "The Fox" which is not even close to their best work. Their pranks are also legendary, but please check out more of their music videos. They cover every genre.

Hello from Norway - you certainly are entertaining us from the land Vikings visited a millennia ago.
(Facts about this song - the two brothers are musicians (and comedians) growing up with stage-shows - but these absurd songs were made to advertise their TV-show.
They are funny because they are actually having a good grip on music and production - since it adds to the absurdity. The production value and performance is too good to pick such silly subjects :)

Check out more from Ylvis, they get very creative with their parody songs and they're genuinely talented musicians. There's usually some interesting story to go with a song as they show these on their talk show, like how they did a song on an UN politician Jan Engeland and had him show up for their show for an interview, or how they tried to make an intentionally bad song and mope on their show about how they failed to make it big but it turned into the most popular song of 2013 essentially ruining their talk show episode

It’s funny, but also a well produced song and Vegards voice rocks there. It’s catchy.
So it can be listened to as a normal song even though they put some jokes/sarcasm in the lyrics.
Jan Egeland used to be the «foreign minister» and Ylvis had gotten a message from an angry fan why they didnt mark Jan Egelands birthday on their talkshow or something random like that. So that inspired them to write the song😀🤩

Yes, this is a parody song group like Lonley iland ect... They are really a Comedy group (brothers). What does the fox say, was never a serious song, it was just a new intro to their new talkshow that blew up for some reason... haha
Fun fact: The Fox was actually a song they designed to be anti-viral that they expected absolutely nobody to see. Epic fail on their part.
