Rob is such a good game dev. Even if he isn't the fastest he is listening to his community which is always amazing

actually before the update on pc, there were 2 first coins so either way you've would've got BOTH coins if you went for both of them, GD Colon even explained it in his video

this update wasn't only for Coins but also to fix some problems with the camera movement and a bug with the reverse trigger (if you played SubZero levels in the Lite leak you will notice that the levels are a bit broken)
also percentage and fix one of 2 secret ways of power trip :(

This is why i love rubrub. He’s one of the few game devs/creators who actually listens to the community and implements their suggestions into the game. Good on you mate!

The % going backwards was the most bizarre thing in the game :v
People made levels with the percentage... doing stuff. (Making it go to 0 to 100 in 0 secs, keeping it at 100% somehow...

@@jogla1724 its easy to make - do a very long level (like hours long) and place start position at the very end, then verify hack the level
It was removed because it skips from 80 to 100% on Nock em.

To me this is a FAR BIGGER W for Robtop than for Colon, the community or anyone else. Being able to take valid criticism is much harder than criticising something in the first place, and Rob managed to fix his product's problems yet again after listening to Colon and the rest of the community, which in my opinion deserves a lot of respect and makes Rob one of the best Game Developers out there.

Robtop fixed his product’s problems? Seriously? There’s a literal game breaking IOS 15 bug that’s literally preventing thousands of mobile players from simply entering the game and people are satisfied with this minor coin update? I will not be satisfied with Robtop or the GD community unless more people speak up about this. This problem is all on App Store reviews and I just cannot tolerate this. People payed money for this game and they can’t even play it.
@@blue5gd If it's a bug with IOS 15, not Geometry Dash, then there is nothing RobTop can do.
@@braydengraves4655 oh Robtop can absolutely fix it. It’s a bug with IOS 15 AND Geometry Dash. Before, apps like Subzero, Meltdown, and Lite weren’t working and people complained all on AppStore reviews about it. But when Robtop fixed them in the latest updates, they were soon working again. Robtop has no excuse for not fixing his main game and wasting thousands of people’s money with a game they can’t even play.

@@a_ddict if i ever decided to take a specified and educated guess of why this specific person presumably replied the same quote from a video about complaining about yellow circles in the video game Geometry Dash and its spinoff Geometry Dash Subzero, it is probably since the creator of the video, did infact say these specific set of words, which relates with the video this video mentions, and the comment forms a sentence, or more logically, a quote.
Although I do agree that the coin shod have changed, it was quite surprising that robtop acknowledged Colon's video, Great job to GD Colon.

Aww man I was waiting to make a video where I bump in every wall to find coins in explorers =(
robtop also fixed the percentage jump in nock em where it goes from 81% to 98%. plus he moved the skull monster in press start more forward in the ship part where you get the second coin. in power trip he also fixed the secret way, added the speed changer, and stopped the percentage going backwards at the start and in the wave as well in the mini cube part at what was 70%. but you can now fall out of the world at around 25%... my favourite coin so far is definitely the first power trip now. It's so cool. great job robtop for listening to the community and taking their suggestions into account. but the speed changer at the start of power trip seems a bit big. maybe shrink it down a bit and add invisible ones next to it. all in all a great job... info on coming soon page: omae wa mou shindeiru: you are already dead...

Although there are still some remaining stuff like a secret way in Power Trip and slowed down version of Nock Em.
But yeah, most stuff is fixed.
I like how they listened to the community about this, props to robtop, but in any versions of this, all songs in subzero are still a banger tho. Press start is my fav too out of the three.
Also the portals have the 2.2 effects now.

The problem with the second Coin in press start is that the Coin position is a more auto block so there is a chance that you will almost get the Coin but you don't jump this is the problem.

Not only did RubRub patch the secret way of Power Trip and fix coins, he also fixed the iOS Power Trip Coin Bug!
Imagine robtop fixed the secret coin paths of some his official gd levels. Most of the coins in Back on Track, Base after Base and Electroman Adventures were not very hard to get.

i'm guessing robtop made it so percentage is based off of how much time has passed while playing the level rather than how far you are in the level
2:37 how the heck i have been trying this so often SOMETIMES AKA 2 TIMES it worked is there some kind of timing or can you click whenever u want
I liked the update because it makes it easier for beginners but in my case, I memorized every coin and now I have to do it again (especially on Power Trip's first and second coin.

But update is now here its hard to get coin from everyone
Oot, but I'm wondering if music sync could be an issue if you press a reversing orb later than usual, especially if there's plenty of it on a level. Creators like Pennutoh could go crazy.
What Rubrub also added in this update is that you can get the twitch and discord icons along with the updated color Palet.
Updated portals they look amaizing now :)
Also another detail is that RobTop fixed the secret way bugs on Power Trip as well. Including the ones at the spider part before the robot part and the robot part.

The percent bar is now related to the time and not the distance before the end of the level

You could also see on press start the skull attacks and animation is faster in the newer version so in the update the animation spec up
A nice change is that before the update on mobile the 2nd coin in power trip counted as the first coin meaning power trip only had a first and a third coin but after the update the 2nd coin was fixed and is now actually the 2nd coin, not a 2nd 1st coin

For me nock em's third coin became easier because before the update it was hart for me to time when to go to the surface, but now with the challenge, it times it for me so it became easier in my opinion
the best part about this is you tell us how to get the coins in the new ver in power trip second coin was so hard i did not know how to get it

One noticable change for knock em out is that its progress bar has become a little faster
To be honest without GD Colon robtob wouldn't update the game since back way then when the game release, I'm also proud of the GD community getting creative and make new things for the game so i gotta respect that!
I feel like this is a hint that 2.2 is coming soon
They also fixed the power trip last part skip bug, adding several spikes at the end.
