Ritchie Wolfe is the GM at the bowling center I work at. Was golfing with him yesterday. Will have to give him a hard time the next time I see him. LOL
I'm glad to see we can agree on the new Skill Shot show being not as good. I don't know how to describe it but I enjoyed Packy and them setting the pin up for the Flying Eagle for Tommy Jones over and over.
To be fair, we don’t know that all these shots were made in one attempt. The old bracket style trick shot competition was taped and edited to show one match each week. It’s possible Voss (or anyone) could have attempted a shot, failed it, and tried that same shot again later in the match. I imagine these matches would have been excruciating to watch live because it probably took way longer to convert any of them than what is shown on the telecasts. That said, I think Brian Voss was a brilliant player and an amazing showman.
Let’s make this very clearly that when I used to watch the Miller Life Skills challenge back in 2005, I liked the event back then. Nowadays, under Tom Clark’s commission, they won’t do this anymore.

I'm just glad they brought it back

They need to do a spare/split challenge
