+Bouge laal I daily drive my 2014 370z and the visibility isn't great, but I think after a while you get used to it and learn to compensate for that with some extra care. The rear backup camera is a great addition to helping with that issue when backing. Without the backup camera, it's impossible to see when backing out of a slanted perpendicular space on a city street. You also have to be extra careful not to curb your wheels. I've already had one curb mistake, not very big one fortunately, but I have to remember to take extra care in some parking situations.
You have a "Touring Sport Tech" model. It's a more rare model because you have the touring with both sport package and tech package (touch screen navigation). The clutch is more forgiving because of the synchro rev match which helps with upshifting as well as downshifting. Finally, the limited slip differential has nothing to do with the synchro rev match feature. The former mechanically adjusts wheels moving at different speeds while the latter blips the power to match the engine rpm when downshifting or upshifting. You skipped mentioning the dash button on the left which is Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) which acts much like the limited slip differential but electronically rather than mechanically, by either applying more or less brakes and/or governing or interrupting gas pedal power. If you try to slide around a corner with VDC on, it literally negates you slamming on the gas pedal to prevent you from spinning the tires and then you lurch forward.

Hi, just purchased a base model 2016 Z. I know exactly what you mean by the clutch in your previous video. But, what do you mean by different/more forgiving compared to this car? Is the engagement point any different?
+ryennn c This car has a much more forgiving clutch than my 2013 did. It engages a little sooner I think but overall just feels much more forgiving. This one also has aluminum sport pedals which I think give you more feel than the standard pedals did. I also took the clutch assist spring out of this car and wow what a difference that made as well! Feels so much more natural now and you know exactly what it's doing, especially as the clutch wears over time and the engagement point changes.
I realize this video was produced years ago, but I just looked up a 2014 370Z Touring w/Sport package on Autotrader and its listing for $24,500 in my area with 38K miles. I'm tempted to snatch that baby.
This is actually my dad's car, but he and I both love it! This one was $41k and change and is fully loaded aside from the automatic which is an extra cost over the manual. I haven't driven the auto but the manual is a great transmission and this car was made to be paired to one if you ask me! I think he has 22,000 miles on it and it's been a great car so far.
It's a Borla Cat-Back exhaust. All aftermarket tips come out a little further than stock to give it a more intimidating look and I like it, it doesn't pose a threat or anything. It doesn't stick out too far compared to a cheap exhaust.
No, this car is a keeper! It belongs to my dad anyway so I can't sell it but he's not looking to sell it. You can find these used though if you look or can buy a brand new one.
mhtube01 I will never buy a new car. I think its a waste of money. I've been looking though, and this is exactly what I am looking for. I guess there is a convenience to buying a new car.
A lot of people would prefer to buy used cars over new because of the depreciation of certain new cars and the fact that as soon as you drive a new car off the lot, you've lost money on it. I get that, but at the same time, there are flaws with buying used cars too. The biggest problem I have with buying a used car is you don't always know what kind of life the car has had so far. Some cars you can tell right away have had a very hard life and others are clearly very well kept with detailed records on everything that's been done. Then there's cars that are a mystery and they seem to be the most common, it seems like so many people today are clueless about cars and just don't take pride in them. I'm really good about oil changes in my cars and taking very good care of them and some people neglect that and try to hide it when they go to sell a car. The perk of buying a new car is, you're in charge of the kind of life it will have and nobody can do any kind of damage to it prior. I think this is huge with sports cars especially because let's be honest, how many people are going to drive a car like this like a "normal" car? My dad and I both have fun with this car but at the same time we don't beat the crap out of it, same goes for my Challenger. I want it to last a long time so I can get years of enjoyment out of it. Sorry for the long rant but that's the main issue I have with buying a used car but like I said, buying new has flaws too.
You can tell what kind of a life the car has lived if you know what to look for based on time. The tires, brakes, wheel wells, and overall condition of the paint tell a story. If the car has 30k miles and a new set of tires and brakes, that also tells a story. But that's pretty much forensic evaluation, and isn't for everyone. Over all though, you're right people buy this type of car to drive hard. I not the type to worry about that though. I have the tools and knowledge to handle most problems. I also have CNC machinery to make the tools and parts I don't have ;) I only want one with a clean interior. I just can't handle buying something that instantly drops in value the second I sign my name. Even local dealerships have these selling used with like 5k miles for about 6k under factory msrp. They just don't have one in touring or nismo trim used. Or with a manual trans for that matter. I will keep looking.
+Ghost warrior depends on it you want in new or used... and how many miles on the car if you choose used... For new its around 25k-35k depending on the model you want. And if you want use then it' varies on mileage but a good car would be 18k-30k depending on the model... (these are prices for the 2014 version)
I've heard a lot of people complain about the clutch in these cars. When my dad let this car go with a little over 30k miles on it, the clutch seriously felt like it was on it's way out. It didn't even engage until you pretty much had it all the way out. The clutch in my 2015 Dodge Challenger by comparison has 40k miles on it and feels MUCH better and was always more linear.
You mean help? What reason do you have to believe that I'm rich? I'm a young guy in his early 20s, I don't have a lot of money but I have a career that I love. I work hard to earn the things I own.
+mhtube01 no i meant halp, dont correct me. i was just making a joke. sorry ill never make jokes ever again. another thing im getting a mustang, wana get stomped in a race?
+Thormejh I don't know why some of you think the 370Z is slow, this car will go over 150 mph. A Mustang will not "stomp" it in a race, a 5.0 would take the lead but this car would be right behind it. A 4.6L wouldn't stand a chance unless it had some heavier mods. The only Mustang that would really stomp this car is a Shelby. I know muscle cars and I know what my own car is capable of. But to answer your question, I'll stick to racing someone who respects the car they're racing, thanks.

What'd ya end up getting? Just got a 2014 myself actually - 20k miles for $22,000
I snatched up a 14’ 370z touring / sport pkg from a private owner for 17k. Car has 50k miles, MT
I see one in phx but it’s a 2013 30k miles for $19,900 should I get
How do you like the car since you've owned it? And how much did you get the car for? I am thinking about getting one..
What kind of exhaust system do you have on? It is sticking out too much.
It's a Borla Cat-Back exhaust. All aftermarket tips come out a little further than stock to give it a more intimidating look and I like it, it doesn't pose a threat or anything. It doesn't stick out too far compared to a cheap exhaust.
i like it too
you forgot the 2 subs in the spare tire
Same exhaust on mine plus 20'' wheels.
Great vid thank u
why are you selling it? she is such a beauty.
Uhh I'm not selling it, never said that in the video.
looking to sell?
No, this car is a keeper! It belongs to my dad anyway so I can't sell it but he's not looking to sell it. You can find these used though if you look or can buy a brand new one.

I will never buy a new car.
Mines an 09 and looks 20x better inside lol
I just bought one too for a steal 2014 sport package with 37k miles for 8300
?!?!? From a dealer?
Dude that’s insane
u did not
What price would this car be now in 2016
?
+Ghost warrior depends on it you want in new or used... and how many miles on the car if you choose used... For new its around 25k-35k depending on the model you want. And if you want use then it' varies on mileage but a good car would be 18k-30k depending on the model... (these are prices for the 2014 version)
what exhaust?
White Borla Cat-Back exhaust.

Yes My 2011 has a shitty clutch
I've heard a lot of people complain about the clutch in these cars. When my dad let this car go with a little over 30k miles on it, the clutch seriously felt like it was on it's way out. It didn't even engage until you pretty much had it all the way out. The clutch in my 2015 Dodge Challenger by comparison has 40k miles on it and feels MUCH better and was always more linear.
😑😑😭😭😭😭 want
why you so rich, halp me please
Lol plz help me too😅
@@mhtube01I bet the 1987 300zx with a engine swapped from the 370z would would dust that mustang of his due to power to weight ratio advantage. People are always underestimating Nissan
