"Just-a-good" game. I think the overproduced artwork and pieces are what's keeping this one afloat. Take away the art, and you have a cube pusher with cards. Theme is barely there. A cross-breed between Biotix, Pandemic, and El Grande. LOL. It's good this doesn't appeal to me though - since I've already crushed through my summer allowance budget for games. LOL.
For a family that can rough each other up a bit in their games and laugh about it, I recommend this, but there's not enough new here for me. For this theme, I'll stick to Biotix (a shorter, and somehow, more thematic game than this which is in my collection thanks to this channel.) Appreciate the review, Dan. For my money, Flatline is a heavier more exciting game for the medical theme, and Doctor Panic is more co-operative family game.
My wife says "stop making my husband buy things, Dan."
