Keep in for XG newbies this was almost 2 years ago in 2023. But along with Shooting Star, Left Right was basically their true breakout. They then followed by working with the great visual artist Cho Gi-Seok on Girl GVNG and then it was hit after hit in 2023 ending with the classic Winter Without You and their The First Take live version is a vocal masterclass. Most Alphaz would probably agree. Then last year 2024 they exploded with a world tour (I saw them in Bangkok Aug 4, 2024) and Undefeated performance video, Woke Up and Howling (also directed by Cho Gi-Seok. In fact working with XG vaulted Cho Gi-Seok to the most in demand music video director. He just did Jennie’s best solo MV Zen. Finally In The Rain and Is This Love from Awe mini album are legit B Sides of the Year and R&B Songs of the Year. This April: Coachella. In 2 years they will be back to Coachella as headliners.
