I was trying to switch from enscape to vray for better quality and after watching how you made changes to material and trees and grass and the environment and image settings.. Its really a huge tutorial for me.. Now I have a lot more idea on how am I gonna transition from enscape to vray and thanks for showing how to set up post production settings of rendered image.. Really appreciated ur hard work Sir! ❤️
I'm very new to V-Ray but to add to the 'using chaos cosmos materials' section. I have been using sketchup materials for each material type, whilst modelling as placeholders and then using the 'Replace' feature after bringing in my V-Ray materials to swap them over. This selects all instances of the placeholder material and it doesn't matter how many groups etc there are. Thanks for showing the 'select objects' method. I haven't tried that one before. I also don't have Enscape, but still picked up some useful V-Ray tips.
i'm newish to the industry..I use enscape and do work for an interior deisgn firm and they are very very picky when it comes to color; how the wood grain looks, etc,. I thought switching to 3dsm would get me better results but thanks to this video I'm realizing its more about the rendering application. so I will definitely look into vray!
The main reason I switched to Enscape from Vray is its simplicity. Now I can stay focus on the design and not quality of Render. Vray can get quite complicated if you search for that brochure quality image.
I think Chaos need to focus on making the work flow more efficient, it's a complicated jumble at present, especially when you compare to the main competitors, or even just poor old Enscape.
Thank you for sharing the good information of the compatibility of Vray and Enscape. But I have one curiosity here, will enscape be able to render Asset from Chaos Cosmos? Thanks!!

Thanks for making this Justin. I think the rendering software someone uses will be dependent on how realistic and detailed they want to get with their model. Myself personally, I like the simplicity of Enscape by itself. I can pretty much drop in my Sketchup model make a few adjustments, render it, and it looks pretty good in my opinion. Could it look better? Of course. I used to adjust textures, but honestly, it just adds more time that I would rather be able to spend on something else. However, I hate that Enscape does not have a more extensive library of plantings and that it does not have animated fire and waterfalls for video renderings. I can overlook the plantings to some degree, but having the animated fire and waterfall is hard not to have. It's why I'm looking at Lumion again, and possibly D5. I just wish both of those programs were as quick and easy as Enscape.
Just a tip for if you do want to get animated fire and water in enscape - just find a video and apply it to the surface. Works very well for me and there are a lot of websites that have free videos of fire and water. You won't be able to do water fountains but water falls are possible.
@@jenniferunrau358 Thanks! I still would love a simple Enscape asset though that has animation ability. The method you mentioned, I know it can work for fireplaces, but can it work for something like a fire pit? An object that I'll see from multiple viewing angles.

When you edit the materials in vray, does it also change the material settings/quality in enscape?

Master. I keep having that problem that does not load the enscape assets in vray. I did all the steps in the video. I also opened encape and vray at the same time and nothing appears in vray. I don't know what it could be. These are the versions that I have enscape 3.5 - vray 6.2. My PC has an intel 7 4th gen - gtx 1050 ti 4gb - 8 ram. I hope your help. Thank you

This looks a bit too complicated for the quality it offers... D5 and Lumion or even twinmotion are a lot more appealing to me!
