I'm a casual bloons player, but even I can see that it's definitely the harshest boss yet. Cause considering 200% HP and 500% speed, you basically need roughly 10x the normal damage you'd do... and then add on dreadbloon's annoying immunity shifting...
I mean it’s not hard to snowball into that, especially w/ benjamin. You don’t even need to tryhard IMF farm (unless ur trying to get a good ranked time)
Cuz even with 200% hp increase and 500% increase speed in normal dreadbloon U can still beat the boss casual play jus need to know what towers to spend on and you'll be fine unlike elite which U need to micro alot as hell
I still think it’s kinda insane that after 4 weeks of blastapopulus, they decide to spring this behemoth onto us. I can’t wait to have my co workers concerned for my well being attempting this boss during downtime.
I actually really like dreadbloon because you can use its properties in your favor by using towers that deal extra damage to ceramics or leads, and I find that quite cool. You can also do that with Phayze, but much less towers deal extra damage to camos.
@@michael4491 I wish there was a paragon who did this with ceramics. I really don't understand why either the Apex or the Dominus don't do significant more damage to ceramic bloons (The Glaive ring actually does 48% more damage to ceramics, but that's it).

I had to use cash drops and 2x insta's on this one. Ended the game with $6.8M, 5x paragons, a VTSG, 1x 4-2-0 and about 20x 3-2-0 Super Monkeys, and barely managed to beat Tier 5.
The extreme mode Odyssey on hard mode was a nightmare and a half to beat as well because of all the tower path restriction's but i managed to do it with Psi for hero and as many high damage tower's possible and all the powers i can carry on board had a lot of retries on fourth chutes map but did the fifth map perfectly fine after that.
I just founded the New bug with my friend you need to go like 150 round to game to start lagging only work in co-op. Then you need to have the at least one monkey without 5 tiers unlocked then just start spamming the tier that you dont have and you gonna just somehow upgrade it to 5 tier
I've been playing this game for years, but I never really was that interested in bossing until this week. Looks like I picked a bad time, or maybe a good time depending on how you look at it. I used a guide to complete the normal version of this boss and I learned a lot but I'm not even going to attempt the elite version.
Good. Save your sanity for an easier boss. Also, if you want to see simpler boss mechanics, do a Bloonarius event. it's pretty close to the infamous "just shoot it until it dies." Only thing it does is spawn tons of bloons as you damage it. Should be a good intro to BTD6 Boss Bloons.
@ I did a bloonarius challenge some time after cause I wanted to try another boss and it felt like a total joke in comparison, was still fun though, as bossing strats are quite different to what im used to in normal gamemodes

this was doomed from the beginning. for this week, i had perfect farming for the first 40 rounds, and got central on round 50, then had the full map filled with overclocked brfs for the rest of the game. i ended up with somewhere around 8-10m million cash in defense: d74 ace, d60 ninja, d60 wizard, d40 boat and d60 dart. the boss still got to the very end, seconds away from exiting. my defense: - first tier with spike storm, sold into moab elim - second tier with flying fortress and d30 dart (tier 5s, extra xbm, 100 upgrade tiers, total cost around 400k) - third tier with flying fortress, dart, supermines, legend of the night, cripple moab, homeland, all overclocked - fourth tier with d60 dart and d60 ninja, plus cripple moab and flying fortress for pops - fifth tier with d74 ace, d60 ninja, d60 wizard, d40 boat, d60 dart and cripple, brittle, glorm definitely hardest boss so far, would've been MUCH easier if i got enough pops for d80 ace.
@@arthurservilheri4311 I don't think it would, if it did the buffs would cost around 200k anyways. the defense was actually around 350k instead of 400k, and the suggested alternative would require actually skill (moving the spac around, managing more towers) which i don't have. but yeah, in hindsight, if i did that and got ninjagon a few rounds later, i probably could've gotten d80 age, which would've made t5 much less close.
I don't think that the game should cater entirely to casual players like me, but I am not a very big fan of how the normal difficulty bosses tend to require a lot of farming.
Yeah, I don't like Dreadbloon. If it was just the immunities, it'd be really fun, but the rock bloons suck. I still don't really know how to beat them. Granted, I haven't looked it up but I also have over 500hrs in the game, I should be able to deduct what is hurting them and like nothing pops it. At least, not bombs, sniper, super, buccaneer or mortar. Or maybe it's because they also gain the immunity of the boss itself too and I just never figured that one out.
They do inherit Dreadbloon category immunities. And their health is insane. Elite tier5 rockbloons have 2.5 times base bad health. Even standard tier1 rockbloons have 1.5 of moab health I think the most frustrating part is the unexplained inconsistency, sometimes they spawn, sometimes they dont. Lych chained moabs are similarly annoying wjere youd exit and reenter a round to have the chained moabs vanish. Havent played boss events in a while idk if this got fixed
