A solution that I came up with to unblock the 12v DC port is to rig the monitor upside down.

This is a very useful review. I'm seriously considering buying one. I agree the DC In placement is a design flaw, but I don't regard it as a show stopper. There are workarounds, such as a dummy battery. That would also have a weight distribution advantage by keeping heavy batteries off the back of the monitor. Thanks for the helpful review!

Feelworld needs to offer a 7" touchscreen monitor that can control the Z Cam and yes I agree the power in/ placement is flawed. I personally try to use a cable from a V-mount battery if possible. I also use a Smallcam monitor cage on my Feelworld 7" , it is a worthwhile addition.

Wilson, I'm extraordinarily frustrated. I just purchased the FeelWorld Lut7 7" monitor. I purchased this monitor for still photography use in a studio, not video production. I want to primarily use this piece of equipment in a studio to assist with focus and having a larger screen to view than what's on my camera's small screen. The monitor was a cheaper alternative to buying a laptop and Capture One software. It should work for my purpose. I can't find a single UA-cam video that actually tells me precisely how to operate this thing. I mean a video that provides the basics for operating this piece of equipment. For example, I want to watch a video that tells me: How to keep the touch function from automatically switching to off-I'm having to constantly turn on the touch feature over and over again because it keep switching off. Is there a trick to keeping the touch function always on?; How to set your function buttons--yes I now where the buttons are, but how do I set them for what I want?; Do I need to install the LUTs 3D to operate this piece of equipment-Yes or No? I want to see demonstrations and practical instructions in a studio on how to operate this equipment. It seems that every UA-cam video simply explains what a person likes or doesn't like about this equipment, not how to practically guidance on how to operate this thing. Can you make a video that shows/demonstrates every facet/function of this equipment-where the function are and how to set them. I feel that I wasted my money on it because there aren't any descent videos or guides/manuals out there on how to operate the FeelWorld Lut7 monitor. In fact, I watched a video in which the only audio was music and the person who created the video, pointed to buttons that the viewer couldn't see, so you didn't know what buttons they were pushing. HELP!

Would a cage not solve the port problem?
