whoa. what a historical artifact! thank you for sharing this. it will forever be relevant for all who revere the roots of salsa.

He hit the nail right on the head. Most salsa dancers in the USA, period, have no real concept of the roots or history of the music and dance. This is why they have no idea what to do when the rumba section or the mambo section hits. Nor do they understand the basics of the steps. But they all claim they are the best dancers.

I think he was trying to say what I've known for years, and that is that the on2 New York style is very limiting.
