***** It is very cool that people enjoy that aspect of my channel and videos. Hearing your positive feedback helps me keep motivated. I can totally relate to what you are saying regarding finding individuals with real life insight on various prepping topics. They are definitely difficult to find. I am just glad that I can contribute back to the community in some way. Nice work finding the colored key tags!
Great video, in fact all your videos are worth watching - keep them coming. My own take on the drawer is to use empty plastic business card cases. They are great for storing small item. I use a dymo labeller to label them. They can be used in other areas such as the garage, shed and home crafting,
Hey Urban Prepper, Might not make a whole lot of difference but Enloop Rechargeable batteries have a really long shelf life and can stay at 75% charge after 5 years, perfect if you never need to use them.
***** I am going to be featuring the Enloop's in my upcoming Batteries Module as part of my Home Prepping System. I decided to go with normal batteries for this drawer since they are cheaper and more expendable.
I thought for sure your fancy 100 dollar toenail clipper was gonna be in there. Hahah! Nice video. I have to regularly organize my junk drawer. The wife has no respect for it.
Hey, just wondering if you could do an update on ur Urban Slim EDC kit (the business card holder one). Ive been building mine up for many years, i would like to see ur one :)
We call it a "variety drawer" because not every thing in it is junk. We also have a "variety room" that includes my office and some things that aren't junk.
In light of the fact that not a single item of "junk" can be found in that drawer, perhaps a more appropriate name is in order. Cliff, why so many office items in the kitchen? Do you have an office nearby?
I do have an office nearby, but I found that items are prone to go missing if they are taken off my office desk. That's why I wanted to include a decent amount of office supplies in the junk drawer. You're right. Perhaps a new name is in order... :)
hey, urban prepper I need your help. my bob needs a air tight bag to keep my food compartment fresh,I would prefer if it was small, what would you suggest, thanks
I was really impressed with your video, you couldn't even say my drawer was a "junk drawer" So this video just motivated me to clean and fix my junk drawer
Blacksteel prepper I'm happy this video helped motivate you to clean your junk drawer. That is awesome. Regarding bags, I enjoy the Sea To Summit bags. Aloksak and even large ZIP locks might be a good fit too.
I think that is a good idea. I didn't include a knife or razor since Baby Prepper likes to find my cool "toys". Maybe when he is a little older I will include one.
I've always thought the 'legal' definition of a junk drawer is that you risk being stabbed by something when you rummage in the drawer. :D And no fireworks. But mine look a bit like yours save I use 'found' containers. Drives my husband nuts.
Your method of organization in more interesting than the actual contents. The attention to detail you give is always the best. Great topic.

That's not a junk drawer, thats a very neat drawer. You have shamed me sir...thanks
Very appropriate as we were looking at our junk drawer and it's a mess. Thanks for the ideas!
Great video, I try to stay organized which helps when you really need to get the items. Maybe I'm ocd as well, but I like my life organized. Nice job.
Love the stubby hammer, the battery box, the 100hr candle & all the OCD stickers!! ;)

you are the most organised man in the world.!!!
Haha... Thanks! I'm working on it. There are many organized people out there who don't make UA-cam videos. They're too busy organizing! :)
Hey, congrats to your Seahawks. They played so well and deserved to be there at the final.
Hey Urban Prepper, Might not make a whole lot of difference but Enloop Rechargeable batteries have a really long shelf life and can stay at 75% charge after 5 years, perfect if you never need to use them.
They also have adapaters for C/D type batteries so you only ever need to store 2 types, AAA and AA.

That makes sense now you said that, able to grab cheap ones that can be used and not worried about recharging
i like you because you don't focus on weapons like other UA-camrs
Good to see some new crazy (awesome) organized videos from you. Thanks.
Great video, love the small items irganizer
As always great ideas I would add a disposal wrench to tools or do what I do when I install them tape it to the disposal.
I thought for sure your fancy 100 dollar toenail clipper was gonna be in there. Hahah!
Nice video.
I have to regularly organize my junk drawer. The wife has no respect for it.
Wow, very nice organization. I have all sorts of "Carry" kits, but my home supplies (while there) aren't nearly as nicely organized.
Yes a home flashlight must be very accessible. I keep one sitting on top of each of my fire extinguishers.
That's a really good idea for a storage location, Mary!

Yes. I plan on doing an update video this spring. I would like to see yours too! Stay tuned.
What is the brand of the little zipper loop attachments you have on alot of your gear? Love your videos.
Thank you, and thanks for thinking through these projects
Very tidy junk drawer :)
We call it a "variety drawer" because not every thing in it is junk. We also have a "variety room" that includes my office and some things that aren't junk.
now take those compartments, dump them out, and mix them all together lol. Cool video
As always..great video!
nice video man. looks really neat.
The moral of this story is use dollar store plastic dividers to organize your junk drawer.
Yep! :)
You are one organized prepper...
Birthday candles I have found so many loose at the bottom of the drawer.
Loving Optimus Prime and Starscream hahahaha
Whoa G1 transformers. I am jealous. Where did you get all the organizers?
Almost everything is from Amazon.
In light of the fact that not a single item of "junk" can be found in that drawer, perhaps a more appropriate name is in order.
Cliff, why so many office items in the kitchen? Do you have an office nearby?
OH!! I know what it should be called. It's the TACTICAL drawer!
I do have an office nearby, but I found that items are prone to go missing if they are taken off my office desk. That's why I wanted to include a decent amount of office supplies in the junk drawer. You're right. Perhaps a new name is in order... :)

TheUrbanPrepper I have a big zip lock bag for now but I'll go pick up one of the bags you suggested for a more permanent food storage, thanks
I've asked you before, but have not seen a response; what is the make and model of the label maker you use? Do you have more than one?
Thanks
Oh. I thought I already responded. I use the Epson LabelWorks LW-300 Label Maker. I only have one. Thanks!
Now I wanna see your garage haha
Very nicely organized.
**Go Hawks**
Thanks. Go Hawks! :)
Where is the pdf for this?
No fair-didn't get to see Baby Prepper! lol! Go Hawks!!!!!
I would love to see how that key works ..
Stay tuned! ;)
You never know when an Optimus Prime hand comes in handy 😁
Its called a junk drawer for a reason this is just a drawer organized. Still nice thought nothing wrong with being organized.
I always keep an X-acto knife in my junk drawer.
I think that is a good idea. I didn't include a knife or razor since Baby Prepper likes to find my cool "toys". Maybe when he is a little older I will include one.
Did anyone else see the thumbtack stuck in the lid of the organizer.
Totally off topic but what a win tonight Seahawks win.
Awesome game! I was at the stadium. It was absolutely electric! Go Hawks!
do more radio reviews
I like to have take out and other restaurant menus in my junk drawer.
I always have at least 2 guns and or knives in mine
I've always thought the 'legal' definition of a junk drawer is that you risk being stabbed by something when you rummage in the drawer. :D And no fireworks. But mine look a bit like yours save I use 'found' containers. Drives my husband nuts.
Finally!

Neatness counts, junks not worth much if you can't find it.

Your junk drawer does NOT look like mine.
Great video, I just made a similar video, check it out
lol
wtf is with the organization
So much of my life is unorganized. I'm slowly trying to change that habit by keeping organized with my prepping projects.
I have a junk box not a junk drawer
