Won't the gold miners having those reserves keep the price of gold from major breakout barring investor speculation driven rally? I can definitely see elevated gold prices being maintained but by having reserves mined at low average costs be a prevalent thing among major miners doesn't that make it so that the buyer is able to still get current prices? It would seem that those reserves have to get chipped away at if gold is to rally further in the absence of investor sentiment shifting towards a speculative driven bubble. The miners (especially the ones that meet production expectations) will probably do ok regardless but realistic return expectations and patience is important!
Gold demonetized silver, any country that chose silver suffered 100 years of poverty. Bitcoin is demonetizing gold, the same will happen Bitcoin is not "tech" and not "crypto", it should only be compared to gold (the commodity) and not companies.
It's surprising how poorly correlated gold and mining stocks can get. Mining stocks are quite undervalued.
Miners are going to rally so hard when they finally start moving.
Countries will never keep reserves in Bitcoin.
