FSS 8 at the Queen Mary was classic, first time I saw Flo Mo crew and y'all were killing the cyphers! The event battles were dope but you had to be there for the cypher sessions that's were illness took place.
Flow Mo and Skill Methodz. Somehow a nostalgic 80`s Bboy style, I never understood how this style of breaking is able to make it to the big stage. To me to be a top Bboy you have to push movement with a Bboy approach( crazy kujo, remind, benji, menno, megus....), I don't see it here. What I see here is more some sort of created persona. (nothing wrong with creating a persona as a artist), its just that this persona is played out (fat laces , business in the front party in the back, Levis jeans, six step variations.....). Your both cool bboys, but to say flea rock is one of the illest of all time lol he's not even the illest in he's crew let alone of his Generation or all time. lol don't get me wrong he's a good and cool Bboy and fun to watch, but Bro to be the illest you have to be ahead of your time not travel back in time, at least in my opinion. peace
Six step variations are the shit, it's the foundation of the whole style. Breaking is about quick footwork on the ground, if you mess with it too much you're not breaking anymore, you're just doing a different style of dance
That battle was dope, i just saw it the other day and thought damn, these og go hard as fuk. Great battle
Thank you Focus! This is one of my favorite battles for all times! It`s really inspires!
Flo Master and Focus have such similar takes on breaking. It would have been an insane battle.
