That’s always been one of my favorite things about Moeller is that he’s always taken BMX very seriously without taking it too serious, if that makes any sense… it’s always been about making Sick, strong, durable bikes and having fun.
I like how Chris calls out the dumb gimmicks. I hated gimmicks then, and now. Simple and straightforward is the way to go. Ah, S&M Holmes was frame back then. The murray style broke where the seatstay was welded at the set tube.
Funny story in 2000 Harry Hulihans/ Cycle Sport Media wanted to sponsor Navaz and I. If I remember correctly they even offered us a signature bike but I remember I was very happy with my STA and Navaz was on a Trailboss... It was one of the first things I ever looked back on and was like damn we should have done that cuz we could have just rebuilt the standard using their machine shop and then could have got like free tubes and all that other stuff but if I remember we would have liked had to wear the jerseys at skateparks I think... Which was kind of a deal-breaker as dumb as that sounds I don't really 100% remember why we didn't do it but we should have.. the more you know LOL
Just an fyi for the museum you can get archival magazine bags and boards that are made by comic book bag and boards companies, any comic shop could order them and they are pretty cheap and will keep the magazines from getting damaged like they will from how you are storing them. You can also get thicker covers made of mylar and ones that look lik giant baseball card top loaders. Storing them correctly is essential to keeping them in good shape for future generations to enjoy.
Also sharpies are not good for signatures on printed material, try a paint pen they don't fade or cause chemical reactions with paper like sharpies do. Sorry if I'm sounding like I'm dogging you but really I m just trying to help.
Like the video before this alot more because I like looking at old vintage bike completes more than listening to a boomer talking about frames and magazines 👌.
So chris logis ,which i also do follow: “so the world to look normal ,you have to be crazy “ . Deep dived crazy detailed person and there is no anyone else the same , because nobody cares so much about technological process and mostly -geometry from school as well as physics. 🤌🏻Moeller ,good job! Love your audio books, watching every video you make or with you for personal education! Thanks, appreciate!

Chris Moeller what a legend! If they ever make a 26"wheel Mad dog frame with disc brakes I will be first in the queue to buy one!
Love these videos, but would be cool if you pulled the bikes out somewhere for a 360 view while you talk about them

Awesome story about visiting standard 😂
is it weird that i’d like to live in there?
Richmond rules
Tell Moeller to put real dropouts on his bikes before talking shit on dropouts. Bout time he stepped up to built in chain tensioners
