Naomi walk became more of a standard, so a way too many models copied it. Yasmeen remained unique, the way her hips and legs move while her shoulders remain steady creates this illusion as if she is floating.
Yashmine is the most beautiful model, with a naturally gorgeous body and face, almost fluid walk with no unnatural movements… simply breathtaking! Nobody is even close to her appearance anymore! One is born in a century , plastic surgery cannot create the harmony of her look.

I had such a crush on Yasmin. She's so beautiful, but what I loved the most is the walk of course but also the class. She looked like a princess. She just had it all.
Yasmeen was so underrated. Truly an icon in her day - and certainly a cut above the "supers" of today. I do not understand how Kendall is considered a supermodel. She is the child of a D-Grade celebrity. The original "supers" and their ilk will never be beaten!
Loved the video ! Always hate reading comments on these everyone debating who is better . For me Snejana is number one and she’s not on the list but I’m not mad about it . Also great to see Colette getting respect .
To me, any model who conquers various high heels & platform shoes with impossibly thin stilettoes - usually 9cm to 16cm high - plus manage to strut the catwalk without looking at their feet & falling over - they deserve medals for their confident, sassy grace ❤🎆✨🎊👍
Karolina's walk is very stunning it's sexy and confident. 🔥 Also I think Yasmin Wijnaldum should not just be a special mention, her walk is ethereal like Naomi, Yasmeen and Gisele

I could see why Yasmeen got the number one slot. I’d probably pick Naomi but not upset with the top two picks. Naomi has the best legs hands down, but Yasmeen’s waist-to-hip ratio is bananas!
I find it amazing that Brandi Quinones was overlooked(even as an "honorable mention"). She possessed a unique & enthusiastic walk; not to mention being visually stunning.
Good choices. The cream of the crop for me are in no particular order: Naomi, Linda, Karlie, Tyra, Giselle, Yazmeen, Karolina, Mariacarla, Iman, Kate, and any other top 90s model. 😂.
I was surprised by the number 1 model on this list (Carmen Kass) but not surprised. She’s my all time favorite cat-walker. On a runway show, when the camera focuses first on the legs, I could tell it’s Carmen Kass in a heartbeat.
Of all time or just maybe of the 90s and 2000s and going forward, because the 70s and 80s has some of the best runway walkers that ever graced the catwalks of Paris, Rome, Milan, and NYC: Anna Bayle, Pat Cleveland, Iman, Dalma, Kirat, Gurmit, Katoucha, Mounia to name a few of the very best.
I am glad that the top three are indeed legendary in their own ways. Yasmeen, Naomi and Gisele are indeed the legendary trios of all times. I am glad there are no trash names like the Hadids that will contaminate the list.
I totally loved Yasmeen. She’s still one of my favorites. But it is surprising that Linda, Tyra, Eva, Yasmin, Candice, and Shalom were just honorable mentions. I happen to like Gisele, but where a number of the others are concerned, I am not a fan of the overly-horsey walk/stomp and the exaggerated leaning back thing (…which makes me think of the stiff models from the 1940’s). For me, it looks highly contrived, diminishs their runway presence, making the models look mechanical. It may be an unpopular opinion, but hey… I’ve been seeing models walk the runway since the 70s, so I’ve developed certain expectations and opinions about it. I know everyone wants to have a signature walk, but when they’re all trying to copy the same walk, there’s nothing iconic or signature about it. And the same walk isn’t going to look good on everyone.
I’m sorry but there’s no such thing as exggeraded horsy walk, when she Walks on the runway every eye is on her and claping hands. Gisele was given a new title the “Uber model” and was the last iconic model.

Yasmeen Ghauri without a doubt. She was poetry in motion. A stunner.
Naomi is and will always be NUMERO UNO. She has rhythm and depth in her walk. Sexiness, class, confidence and knows how to change when neccesary.
Except her walk has never changed, regardless of the designer. A good runway model that can take direction knows how to modify her walk. Naomi has not shown this. Look at all her runways, you’ll see!
Naomi (and Tyra) herself said that Yasmeen Ghauri had the best walk out of them all lol.
Naomi also never changes it.

@@karinkatt7893 You don't know who Naomi Campbell is. Help??? Exactly what help??.. she was a model that every big fashion designer wanted for their fashion show. Help with what exactly??
I adore Yasmeen, however, I have to put Naomi as #1, Yasmeen a close second. I must say that although I don't agree with your list, I think it is spectacular!! How I miss those days. I always adored Yasmin's walk as well. The late 80's/90's were a Catwalk extravaganza! Though I do think we may soon be witnessing a new era of fabulousness. I have seen some stunning ladies on the catwalk lately that have peaked my interest. Thank You for this amazing video xx
That's ur personal opinion, but Yasmeen still n will always hold 1st position
Naomi walk became more of a standard, so a way too many models copied it. Yasmeen remained unique, the way her hips and legs move while her shoulders remain steady creates this illusion as if she is floating.
@medico475 The fashion industry hails Naomi as top Supermodel of all time. Nobody cares what a UA-cam channel thinks or you.
I agree. Naomi is the top runway model hands down.
Absolutely not, even Naomi herself said Yasmeen has the best walk.
Yashmine is the most beautiful model, with a naturally gorgeous body and face,
almost fluid walk with no unnatural movements…
simply breathtaking!
Nobody is even close to her appearance anymore!
One is born in a century ,
plastic surgery cannot create the harmony of her look.
Late 80s to Mid 90s- the era when supermodels ruled! La Belle Époque
You couldn’t pass a town in Europe without seeing their faces plastered on magazines, billboards, shops, etc. all over.
You would have to have been alive back then to really appreciate the walk of goddess Yasmeen Ghauri during runway shows. Absolutely beautiful to see!
One Honorable Mention you surely forgot is Brandi Quinones - that girl put the EXTRA in walking down the runway and it was divine to watch!
One cannot possibly exist in a world where Linda Evangelista is a mere "Honorable Mention".
THANK YOU.
l know, this list is wack AF
I know. What a turn-off. Miss "I don't get out of bed for less than 10k". An insanely beautiful girl. A chameleon. Ruined her career instantly. I used to go to all the shows and after that incident, she was nowhere. She showed up on a Prada stage 2 decades later. Was kind of pathetic actually. She was obviously way older than the girls there.
@@j.b.4721 Lion does have a point. What's so honorable about her? She's a spoiled twat that thought she was above it all. She found out the very next day, that she wasn't. She is just a living warning for every model to come, to appreciate the work you do get and don't ever cross lines. A models working life ends as quickly as it started and there's always that girl behind you waiting for her time.
@@mr.rightnow.7300 LOLLLL. her career was barely dented. that same year she was paid 20,000 to walk for Lanvin. the next year she appeared on the cover of multiple issues of Vogue, including the highest-selling issue of all time, to this day. the next year after that she was paid $5 million for an endorsement deal with clairol. you must be on drugs or something - stay off the crack! ❤
Omg that final look by Yasmeen, that face 😍
Well done!! And, yes.Yasmeen👑!!! During interviews even Naomi👑, who is a Goddess on the walk, would say the Yasmeen had the best walk. ❤❤❤❤.
Oh, come on... Shalom gets an "honourable mention", when there were girls ranked I'd never even heard of before?! smh
Relegating the incomparable, legendary Linda Evangelista to honorable mention is criminal. Aside from Linda's flawless beauty, her runway walk was sheer perfection - elegant, cool and always riveting. Queen of the catwalk. She should absolutely be in the top three, with Naomi and Yasmeen.
This list is very biased. Some models here are not even that famous and Linda was relegated as honorable mention. Forgot about Christy totally.
@@erlieranola2513 It's ridiculous..this list.
@@margueritemazzeo2904 That is what I thought at first. Then I realised, she said "cat walkers" not "runway walkers" there are many great runway models who didn't necessarily "catwalk". Think "Iman"
As well - Shalom’s walks were always FLAWLESS & INCOMPARABLE
Yasmeen deserves #1. I always thought it was a toss up between her and Naomi, but Yasmeen has a bit more switch.
I have a few issues with this list but not going to get into all of them. It is obviously not "of all time" but leans more towards an era. There were many missing from this top 10 - Pat!, Ines, Kate, Christy...
There can never be a model list with Linda Evangelista in an honorable mention category - ever. Even if her actual walk wasn't as fierce as some of the greats, her presence alone is uncomparable.
Doubtful that your accurate observation will catch anyone's attention to change it. If anyone knows Thierry Mugler's Haute Couture 1995 Show, then they know. Fire.
And where is Karen Mulder?
I also notice most models are Eastern European, although KK and Carmen Kass are some of my all time favorites.
@@elektrastone7327 Germanic white European women don't tend to be as feminine if they are tall, hell I'm short and my face and body is more on masculine side.

They are all men 🤡🤡🤡🤡 God gave you eyes. ....now use them
Finally top 10 that I can agree with. Yasmin, Naomi and Gisele are indeed top 3 best catwalkers. They are irreplaceable 😭
lol, Girl, Gisele isn't REMOTELY comparable to the other two. Her career most of us know of, was photoshoots and commercial work. Her walk is nice, but without that face, you wouldnt be able to distinguish it from 60% of the other working models honestly. Even Shalom is significantly higher tiered than Gisele when it came to runway (Wintours declared fav of all time).

She was lovely & nice....and beyond gorgeous of course!!! She was my ultimate fave after that day. My friend got to dress Eva Herzigova @ the same show. The early 90s were the best!!

Yasmeen was so underrated. Truly an icon in her day - and certainly a cut above the "supers" of today. I do not understand how Kendall is considered a supermodel. She is the child of a D-Grade celebrity. The original "supers" and their ilk will never be beaten!
Yasmeen Ghauri is a goddess.
Natasha Poly is my alltime favorite catwalk model.

7. Adriana Lima
To me, any model who conquers various high heels & platform shoes with impossibly thin stilettoes - usually 9cm to 16cm high - plus manage to strut the catwalk without looking at their feet & falling over - they deserve medals for their confident, sassy grace ❤🎆✨🎊👍

Totally 😢
@@guttocgshe didn't really have any competition in her era though, not like the 90s where we had a big group of supermodels.
