I planted ginger on my mini garden in front of my kallapaw(hut). I gathered decayed hay to put into my garden bed to make the soil better before planting. Just before the wet season came I already planted tomatoes, chilies and herbs in my garden. I will plant more soon for our own consumption.
In the afternoon, I cooked adobo fried rice for our family dinner. It's an easy dish to make but very tasty. The process includes cooking adobo(pork or chicken) first then stir fry with leftover rice. Add additional salt and pepper.

I’m working really hard to build my own home in the countryside - someday. I’ve used to live in bukid when I was young but things happened and we moved out, but since then, I promise myself to live a life like yours. Enjoying the simple things and appreciating them. Your family is sooo amazing. I wish I can experience that kind of bond too. I truly hope you can reach more heart with your hardwork and passion.
