Yes, crochet for baby is where I learned it too. It's a fun stitch that grows fast and makes a nice soft blanket from light weight yarn. :)

I am making baby blankets for the church missionary closet, but now, my grandson and his wife are having a baby. They lost their first one, so now I have to get something going. I don't know what they are having yet, but she likes winnie the pooh. I have to look up what colors that intales. Do you have any ideas. I made my grandson one of white and blue squares and sewed on winnie the pooh patches. But, I want something different this time. Any help is appreciated. By the way, I hold my hook like a pencil, too. And I only use susan bates hooks. I just can't crochet with the overhand method. Have a Wonderful & Blessed Day!!!

I pray their second baby is born healthy and strong. I went to Google Images and searched for C2C patterns (corner to corner) of Pooh and there were lots of examples. He's a gold bear with a red shirt and usually an outdoor green background. I've tried corner to corner but have never completed a graph pattern..... yet. :)
