I agree, plus your knife skills have increased tremendously! Now, more flat tummy! By the way, the egg dish is called "Shakshuka" and is very well known
I've been making a very similar thing for years. The only real difference is the onions go in with the garlic and beef and when they're all built I pan fry the whole quesadilla on the pan instead of sending them to the oven. If you use a lid it keeps the heat in and melts the cheese pretty fast and the tortilla gets a little bit of char which brings out so many of the other flavors. Char makes everything better. The best BBQ has good chew on the bark. Same thing.
I agree, quesedillas fried on pan with a little oil makes the difference. Great recipe, but would definitely differ from the oven use. Made on pan you can also just flip them once you've seen the cheese has melted.

I know when she started adding spices I was just thinking to myself, “oh this is just taco seasoning. It’s tacos probably.” The tomato paste and broth are a good touch. Plus I’m pretty sure the cheese is also just Mexican cheese blend that you can buy in every store in America.
Great video! You inspired me to try my own concoction. I cooked Italian sausage, portabella mushrooms and onions then I put the filling on flatbread with provolone and mozzarella. I folded the bread and brushed garlic butter on each side and baked for 5 mins. It was delicious.
I was short on time, with no idea what to make for dinner tonight when this video showed up in my feed. I made recipe #1 and the whole family loved it! Ty so much for posting this! 😁
Excellent presentation! Looks fantastic and I will be making this. Regarding the options to either bake or pan fry, I noticed you did the bake method. Is it a bit dryer to bake, but a cleaner final product? Or would you brush the tortillas with avocado oil or some kind of oil- a small bit -in order to get that browning effect while baking? I don’t want them too greasy, just browned more. Again, awesome presentation! New sub!

*German discovers quesadillas, falls in love* Yeah though, they're pretty awesome. There's a million ways to make them too, but the version you showed is the classic. They're also super quick to do with just the cheese.
alternative route for recipe 1: heat up a nonstick pan or griddle on the stove top, add butter to one side of the torilla and place it butter side down in the pan, add your cheese and meat on top of the torilla, maybe some pico de gallo and or salsa if you got it. you can either fold in half or add another buttered torilla on top but place it butter side up then flip to crisp up the newly added torilla. i prefer to use a griddle as the size of mine will take up two stove top burners meaning i can crisp up both torillas at the same time and get to eating that delicious quesadillas quicker.
