The poor girl had braces on her teeth and was very self concious about them. But the group, and especially Johnny, singing brought out a smile regardless of them. I'm sure she grew up to be a beautiful woman with great memories of this moment. Sha Na Na is the best.

I had the opportunity to work security at a Sha na na concert during a local music festival. I was assigned to be just outside the dressing room where they kept their many costumes. I got to watch the entire concert from just off stage. When one of the members was not performing he would stand off stage and visit with me while waiting to go on. Greatest concert I've been fortunate to see.
This is so sweet. This girl is now a woman but I bet she remembers this as a high point in her life. I know I would be telling my grandkds about it and I bet she will too.

So agree Shawnlynn..growing up in the early 60's I had no reason to question that the good times would go on for ever..music reflects those times, and sadly the musical garbage we are force fed every day now is reflective of the times we now live in.
