This is the problem where he doesn't express his real self because of ego or superiority complex, he actually showed jealousy in a caring way because he knew what some other men would be thinking but named it in the name of conservative mindset.This creates misunderstanding. In real relationships also egoistic mindset doesn't let your soft inside express itself.
