All I can say 😔😔😔😔😔 I had travel with them for times, and more than happy with the service… And thought it was fantastic. They went from Townsville straight to the Sunshine Coast… Now I have to fly at three time surprise from Townsville to Brisbane and then find my way back to the Sunshine Coast.😢😢😢😢
Love Mel and Tim ,
You're associated with either ten or working dog.
Was a great airline. No complaints from any of my (very full) flights 🫡
Geoffrey Thomas has always been to aviation what Scotty Cam is to construction.
They had a combination of trying to fly planes that were too large on regional routes, and on the main city routes they were undercut by Qantas/Virgin.
It wasn't on the most solid ground from the start. Airlines are expensive to start and maintain which is why so many have failed over the years.
they say the quickest way to become a millionaire is to be a billionaire and start an airline. There's a reason you'll be hardpressed to find many airlines around the world that started in the past 10-20 years
Lest we forget Qantas’s anti-competition moves like booking plane slots at airports in the full knowledge that Qantas had no intention of using them, etc.
Tim and Mel are Great , Bonza airlines not so much.
OMG! I’ve been seeing your stuff pop up but I thought you were just posting clips from old shows that were still relevant or were relevant again. I had no idea you were still creating new content. This is hilarious.
(Always loved Hollowmen and those types of shows. Utopia is great but sometimes it’s depression too because it’s just too damn real.)
Would have been more successful if it was called Bogan.
geoffrey has a busy week
It was not Bonza fault. It was the parent company 777 failure to pay its bill to the lease company.
Bonza is rooted.....admit it FFS
The receiver says there have been a dozen enquiries about buying it out and taking it over, so there is a chance that it won't die.
Wait? Bonza closeing down is the first time I heard of Bonza operating and it wasn't BonziBuddy the windows program.
I find this not at all amusing. As a matter of fact. Many Australians are so quick to tear down anything if there’s situations like this. I’m very sad about this and also angry. Australian people should be supporting and not bashing this airline whose goals were to help them reach destinations and families that other airlines don’t cover. Shame on you shame.
We should be supporting an airline who isn’t going to be paying their staff? An airline owned by a 12 billion company? You think that’s acceptable Debra? Shame on you.
You are not even one bit funny!
So basically a couple of snobs on television have sunk the boots into an airline trying to fly people around the country. Instead of paying enormous prices just to get from regional centres to Melbourne or Sydney to get cheap flights. Your mate albosleaze could have saved this airline but as usual to busy giving taxpayers money to some American computer company
You act like Bonza is a charity needing donations - their American owners are worth 12 billion, and they’re now not paying their staff. And yet you’re angry at two TV hosts? Yeah righto champ.
Albonomics in full force
How so?
haha how so? A private capital venture company chose the worst planes to run the worst routes and somehow that is albos fault? Ludicrous.
The company was making money. The owner of the planes wants them back.
