Centrists trusted the party when it told them that Biden was so electable that it was worth splitting the party to back him and now they're finding out that the DNC was sitting on a rape allegation until after they'd nominated this guy. They're about to find out that he's a racist with a history that makes Trump look good by comparison. I understand why they backed the DNC. The DNC has shown that it means business and that it doesn't care about losing to Trump.
The left has to decide if it's willing to lose an election to get the power it needs to take on climate change, bring healthcare to everyone an end the wars. It's never going to be easier. There is literally nothing to recommend Biden over Trump, and frankly if he wins he will have changed the party so dramatically that the Republican party will be the lesser of two evils by default. Never forget that the people that voted for Trump voted for a candidate that offered us universal healthcare, an end to the wars and medical marijuana - a massive blow to mass incarceration. Trump has done none of those things, but the people that voted for him were a hell of a lot more open to those policies than Biden voters.
