I feel like sometimes people don't like Courtney because they don't understand or have never listened to the acts that are the roots of rock and roll, or have never listened to rock and roll, or R&B at all. I want to tell them to go listen to the Stones, Joplin, Tina Turner, James Brown, the list goes on. Then they'll understand what Courtney is about. If they think she screams, they're in for a few surprises!

Her performance gets better for me personally when I google the song and find out it was Tina Turner hit. So I watch how Tina did the song and understand the intro or slow lead up into the faster pace of the song. I ddin't get it when Courtney came out singing slow. Trust me if you watch others do the song on you tube you will appreciate Courtney's interpretation of the song better.
We won't find out the results till tomorrow night but I voted for Courtney and ONLY Courtney. For me she's been consistently amazing the whole season and I hope she wins. Even if she doesn't I know she'll get signed by someone. With the amount of popularity she's gotten from this show she'll be huge and I can't wait to see what she does in the future!

At the same time she gives every song some little twist or spin and simply makes it her own. That's not something that you can learn. You either have it or you don't. And, boy! does she have it!! Courtney is the only one with high energy and moving constantly while she sings. If you have heard her cover album, you'll understand how spectacular a voice she has.
Some question if Courtney can sing in a slower ballad way. The first part of this was addressing that. I actually thought it was beautiful. Of course, she is still the great rocker she is, so she threw her coat and turned it up about 70 percent or more. I love her stage performances, but I know and respect when she sings slow and meaningful.
That start shows what else her voice can do...there is a voice in there ...just needs time .the judges Know what they are doing.How hard it must be for her to have to do THAT ...and then go back to to being what she is....a little girl of 14, sitting in. Class room , taking exams, etc .hope she can handle the contrast ..win or lose , the media exposure will change her life ....let's hope it's for the better. Thanks Courtney ,we ❤️it.

Glennis is a wonderful singer, one of the best, but I'm not sure if I had my eyes closed I could distinguish her from many other singers. I mean, when you heard Whitney Houston, you knew exactly who it was. It's like Simon said, the great ones are ones who get remembered. I love the way Courtney sounds, I love her fearlessness. I love the way she feels the music and lets it fill her up. Win or lose, she's going to be herself. That takes guts. She's definitely unforgettable. Everyone keeps saying she's thirteen, but she's had a birthday since the show began. There have been younger contestants. Also, speaking for someone who was painfully shy as a child, she's not acting. Some performers just can't be themselves in front of a crowd unless their performing. When she performs she comes alive. I'll be humming River Deep, Mountain High for weeks. Just like I have with everything she's done so far. That's just my opinion. They're all so fantastic this year. Everybody's gotta run for their money! I would love to see everyone of them go on to successful careers, no matter what, but my votes went to Courtney.
