It was really great to pick where to go, and what to explore all by myself!
And I am (kind of) proud to share with you my One-Day-Trip Plan! 😂 (yay-!)
You can see all aspects of Shanghai, city-side and country-side.

★ To be honest, I've been to so many places, and I went everywhere so randomly.😂
So I can't find the exact location or address to share it with you!
But this is what you call 'Explore', right? :)
1) Breakfast Place: Somewhere in Tianzifang
📮 Address: X
Tianzifang Address: Taikang Road Lane 210, Huangpu District, Shanghai, China
➔ It was like a cafeteria, where lots of other shops share open tables. Sadly, I can't find it in the apple map.🥲
2) Coffee Shop: Peet's Coffee
📮 Address: X
I can only find an address of 'Starbucks', which was right next to the peet's coffee on google map.
This is the starbucks address : China, Shanghai, Huangpu, Xujiahui Rd, 618号日月光中心1层1F-A08单元 邮政编码: 200023
➔ To be honest, the Coffee was really good. I had flat white.
3) Nice streets which look like Europe.

But it's around this area.
➔ Jianguo Middle Road No.20-22 (Dapuqiao Subway Station Entrance & Exit 1 Pedestrian 410 Meters), Huangpu, Shanghai China
4) Subway station, where line No.10 and No.13 is, "Xintiandi" Subway station.
➔ I can't find it on apple map. I doubt myself saying "Apple map works in China." 😂
5) Zhujiajiao, Water town.
➔ It takes almost 2 hours by subway, and on the way back to my hotel, it took nearly 1 hour. It is really great for a day tour!

In China, if people know you are a foreigner and cannot speak Chinese, they often very patient and glad to help. But in other places such as New York, local people behave very rude and unfriendly if you can’t speak English. That’s not fair!

Shanghai is indeed beautiful at all times of the day. I did not visit Zhujiajiao, but I will make a point of doing so on my next trip to Shanghai. China is a marvelous country and the people are friendly and curious about visitors, so with your positive reviews of Shanghai, you will most likely be labeled a CPC-paid reviewer and a China lover. All the people you see there are all CPC-actors (just joking). Glad you had a great time in China and look forward to your next video, I saw your video of your family and you travelling in Beijing in 2019, and that was a great video. I loved Beijing and I stayed in the Hutong. I hope to travel to other parts of China in 2024 and spend more time there, now that for me traveling to China on a short break is much more convenient due to non-visa requirements, also gives me a chance to practice my rusty Mandarin. Keep up the great work, loved your videography.

Thanks for the sentiments, my grandparents left Chaozhou (潮州) during the revolution. Just trying to trace my roots and understand Chinese living in China, thus my thirst for more China, I have never felt unsafe in China. BTW, I ignore the trolls they don't bother me. You cannot argue with the ignorant and probably illiterate. 🤣
The view during the boat ride is sooo pretty! Write this down in my bucket list. Thank you for showing us the city!

I live in Belgium and have been visiting Shanghai recently. As you said in your video, I really regret not having been to the places you discovered. Is the scenery really that great or is it your editing skills? Everything seems so clean and you look like you have absolute trust people won't steal from you. I enjoyed your trip a lot and hope to see more.
My experience in Zhujiajiao was amazing. The scenery I captured in my camera wasn’t greater than what I saw through my eyes!😌 You have reason to come back to Shanghai💝

안녕, 하은, you are so cute. I haven't been to Shanghai yet. Tho I think my reaction would be exactly like you, super pumped especially when crossing the bridge. What a nice boat ride. The sunset, night in 朱家角(Zhujiajiao) is literally stunning! Btw, the fried bread you had in 田子坊(Tianzifang) was likely to be 油條 (youtiao; fried breadstick). I highly recommend you dip the youtiao in soy milk, which is a common way to eat in Taiwan. It makes youtiao perfect.

Eating youtiao with soy milk is probably only loved by people in Taiwan or perhaps one or two localities in Mainland China. We, Malaysian Chinese or Cantonese people generally prefer to dip our youtiao in hot congee, red bean soup or coffee.😂

the ‘orange’ you ate in Zhujiajiao is actually not orange but dried persimmon. In china we call it 柿饼Shibing which translated as ‘persimmon cake’
