THERE HAS BEEN SO MANY VIDEOS MADE ON ABOUT THESE FOLKS DYING IT HAS GOT LUCRIDOUS.
I GUESS THE MORE THE BETTER!👈🏿👀
Plus Jim Reeves and Dean Manuel, his manager and piano player on July 31, 1964.
Are there other prophetic album covers? That might make a spooky video for Halloween. My dad ran sound for Ricky Nelson in VA the summer before he died. Apparently he was flying without a plane that day if you get the gist.
Jim Croce, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valenz. You missed them.
Jim Croce, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens & the Big Bopper will be in part two.
As a guitar player this affected me in a very negative way to this day my heart is still broken.
Dottie west died a few years later in a car accident, Denver was flying that plane because he lost his pilots license do to a dui driving his car and was in a accident, no one was hurt , otis redding owned the plane that crashed, I believe they were leaving a performance on the up beat tv show in Cleveland Ohio,
Jim Croce was the one who got me. It was all over school the next day; I heard it first period.
Lynyrd Skynyrd played my hometown the last show before the crash.
How could you miss Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, & Valens, you know The Day The Music Died.
Jim Croce, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens & the Big Bopper will be in part two. Thanks for watching.
East Coast legend Stan Rogers died as a result of a fire on a plane. He is still honored with music festivals and his work continues to be recorded by others. He is the author of "Barrett's Privateers" - a popular drinking song - and a number of others.
Lynyrd Skynyrd is still my favorite band!!!
❤️
Jim Reeves?
Glen Miller.
He's not considered in the rock era but he's a good one. We will include him in future episodes in this series.
@@RockHistoryBook I know but I think He might be the first musician to die in a plane crash or at least supposedly die.
Jim Croce should have been included in this report.
I don't know how that crap about flying being "statistically safer" than driving when it comes to fatal accidents got started. From the UA-cam videos on the subject it clearly appears 11x more celebs died in aircraft accidents than in car accidents.
John Denver wasn't supposed to be flying due to DWI suspensions.
No Jim Croce?
Jim Croce would have been bigger had he not left us too soon.
You are missing buddy holly
It is so sad these famous lost their lives in plane crashes. Patsy is wrong about flying planes being safer than driving because how is flying planes safer to travel on if she and others got killed in them. That is why I drive instead of flying. Driving is not dangerous, but people who do not drive safely make it dangerous.
Randy Rhodes
Lynyrd Skynyrd is still my favorite band!
We also lost Jim Croce and Bill Chase (Get It On) to plane crashes. Two more greats we lost too soon.
Jim Croce, Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens & the Big Bopper will be in part two.
