They explained in EP 4 that normal folks cant see spiritual things. To them it just looks like Okarun suddenly went stonefaced and is strong enough to manhandle someone two times his size. Thats why its a huge red flag when Aira confirms she could see Momos phantom hands. Also... Aira made Okarun Proxy Tbag Momo. Jesus christ...
Looks like Ayase got the worlds first indirect teabagging? When he gets his one ball back will his new nickname be "Lefty"? How do you say that in Japanese? Hidari-chan?
I think that Ken probably knew subconciously that Ayase was cute like the moment in the beginning of the previous episode when he says he can forgive people because he has a wonderful friend, we see Ayase being all shiny and idealized, hinting that he actually finds her attractive, but isn't aware of it yet. But with this episode he clearly realize that she could be more like a friend, that he finds her attractive. Dandadan has been subtle last episode about Ken Takakura interest in Ayase, but the hints were there. Before Ayase said to him that she would stay friends with him even after the issue with Turbo Granny, he wasn't even sure she would stay friend with him, so it makes sense that he wouldn't consider her as a potential love interest. And calling her ugly was more like a way to banter than actually being serious.
It's interesting how they're depicting the monsters here. Like, Silky is definitely monstrous, but she's not altogether disgusting. They also spend time on revealing her weaknesses and motivations, almost like she's a deuteragonist. They did the same with Turbo Granny. In fact, Turbo Granny is now "helping" them out, while also being very frank with the fact that she'd kill them without a second thought, given half a chance. It's an interesting dynamic. In many shows, when the opponent "switches sides," they become inexplicably changed and heroic for no good reason, mainly to build audience sympathy. Here's Turbo Granny isn't behaving in a manner that seems very different to what she was before. She's powerless so she's biding her time, but she can also be useful to our protagonists in some ways. And it's not particularly surprising that she would be contemptuous and hostile to spirits she considers beneath her. She's just that arrogant.
1:22 It actually is in the manga, but because it’s still frames it’s not as obvious as in the anime, it shows her putting it into her pocket and then the next panel is her hand over it feeling it from the outside.
LOL I love how everyone says Aira's two flunkies are dead in all the reactions I've watched so far. To be fair they got what they deserved for being followers and facilitating the crazy testicle zealot, but we don't see blood spatters on the wall so they're probably fine, concussed AF, but fine.
I wonder if Momo having her hands tied will act in a way to impower her. Meaning she'll have better control of her powers without needing to move her arms and hands to signal a movement.
Science saru went way too hard on the part where Aira was touching the ball through her pocket. Also, Aira met Acro-silky when she was still alive, she wasn't able to see spirits as a child.
4:22 Andrew normal people can’t see spiritual changes in the characters, like Momo’s giant spirit hands. If a normal person gets lifted up with them it would just look like they’re floating. Has this not been explained already? I thought it had already been explained at this point in the manga, I can’t remember.
I think the anime added perspective shots of Okarun lifting the dude but the perspective shots had him in his Yokai form so he was confused. Could be an error or the animators didn’t think about it. I don’t think we got a perspective shot in the manga.
Okarun didn't know he has a pretty girlfriend XD In Mieruko-chan they use the concept of seeing ghosts, if you can to see them then they can to do any to you, mainly they attack you.
As this episode unravelled, I was wondering why I felt positive towards the character of Aira Shiratori but Otaku Spirit says it all in "There is almost a like in how stupid she is". Do all pretty girls think they are fated to save the world? with someone else's Golden Balls? Every episode of Dan Da Dan tops the episode before. How long can they maintain the genius of this anime? Without knowing the story forward, Shiratori-san appears to be rehabilitated, and she will join the team fighting Ghosts and Aliens. Hey, best Rom-Com of the year. Question: Is there only one Golden Ball or two?
yeah i'm definitely neutral with the pink hair girl. it's crazy that she spread a nasty rumor, but it was for righteous reasons??? it her own weird kind of way? like she was upset but then she also thought it was a sign of a devil.
They can't see okarun form , its explained in episode 4 that normal people can't see spiritual powers. Well momo is the main character so of course she does the beating up
The Balls plot device has both a funny and a logical reason to be retrieved, I love this series so much.

i mean dropping from the train is a tbag too

Aria's moment finding the balls shows in the park that she can't see spiritual elements without the ball. Just like the civilians in EP 4
_That's a really big ball not gonna lie!_
The whole plot surrounds around those damn balls!😂
Aira just fondling that thing the whole episode like it was the One Ring was just hilarious to me.

10:20 the opening shows that there are two of them
duuude i thought and felt the same when i saw the rubbing in the poket hahaha masterpiece!
They hint at it when they are running through town from turbo granny that nobody sees the spiritual transformed characters

Momo casually catching bodies
I'm not sure how much sympathy I have for the girls after they tackled and tied someone up.
Okarun and Okumura are kindred spirits.
Instead of the two girls , she should have tossed Aira. Loving this more every episode.
Ayase. Balls to her face. Well maybe just one of them. Left or the right one tho?
Next episode is going to brake many many people...
Why do you say that?
@@steezleman7845Just watch the next episode. bring some tissue.
next episode will make you cry

Also 金玉 "Golden Ball" is slang for... balls.
Kintama !! Gintama taught me that back in the day
Gintama is so good
Not his balls basically being Shikon (family) Jewels with them being extremely powerful and coveted by demons. 😂
3:11 not wrong, but I would've said Rent a Girlfriend.
I wonder how the two girls thrown by Momo can survive by such force. @_@
They already made it a point that nobody can see the spiritual side of things so obviously they can’t see his transmission
@Otaku Spirit sorry to drop this in an unrelated video but did Tsumasho just disappear from crunchyroll?
Next episode will be something
Okarun didn't know he has a pretty girlfriend XD

nah there def a power couple

The crazy thing about Dandadan (the manga, but the anime is doing so well yet) is that every arc becomes crazier and it gets better.
@@cedricmichaud552 OK! I can run with that, look forward to it, in fact.
waaaait, how does a ceramic cat use a capacitive touchscreen?
or plastic, non conductive either way
Spirit magic. Duh!

She has a MC Syndrome.
