As it was reported, HE started the fight with Rams fans, and woundup getting the worst of it. I drive sprinters and minibuses and worked playoffs, the Superbowl, and several other events and visits. Also, gotta know hood politics. While in LA, I went to Inglewood, Rosecrans Blvd., Crenshaw and Slauson (3 weeks before Nipsey was killed), Compton, Anaheim, Hollywood, The Hills, and numerous other towns in LA/Orange County.
    One thing i learned while out there was fitted hats are part of the code. Each team represents a hood/gang. Crips told me as a East Coast native (New Jersey) to not rock a yankee fitted no where. And to role with someone who knows each hood very well. They can tell who’s from what neighborhood and if you an out of towner.
    Dont sleep on the OC neighborhoods either. Many Vatos and Vicelords out there. Luckily I was with my cuz and a girl who lived out there.
    I met Nipsey’s homies and family (Cowboy, Sam) and a few of his other Neighborhood/60s affiliates. Shit is not a game out there. I can see why most rappers get killed out there. They have no knowledge of their hood’s politics and let their egos get the best of them.

      The one in West L.A, on Pico should have been PNB destination. RIP.

    I've said the before, and I'll say it again: Rapper gotta stop trying to act like they are still in the same place as they were before they made it. They are rich celebrities, they have to move like it. They want to drive around a $100k car with $1 mill jewelry on? Don't go to a bar, or a restaurant, or a club in the hood or near the hood or invite hood people (Pop Smoke) to your private party. They are no longer on the same class level. You got broke thieves, gangsters, and thugs sticking up gas stations, and you want to flaunt your money around them? I know it is a thing rappers do... to stay "street" and relatable.. but it really isn't reality.

    In one interview PNB Rock said he makes a point to hang out the hood of every city and state he goes to. I hope whatever reason he had for doing that was worth it, smh. I thought PNB would've learned from Young Dolph getting murdered at a hood restaurant.

    MC eiht is a west coast Legend salute to you. He is an official ambassador out here. Pnb was a free soul. When your a free soul you travel everywhere. Even nipsey rode public transportation and hung with YG in a blood neighborhood. The problem is as you become more blessed and gain success, the hood begins to plot on you as a target 🎯. You are now the homie that is now a meal. They was going to jack him anyway, he just made it easy by coming to the hood and shinning brightly and posting public locations.

      *He bragged that he proved to the supposed robbers that he was knowing & wasn't a easy target. If folks was on him the way he described then he was slippin thinking they wasn't watching his every move. INCLUDING that interview. No way I would've been caught out there afterwards without security or AT LEAST a 🔫. You can speak good & bad into existence* .

    From what I hear about LA its very deceptive in the optics. LA in general is very appealing to the eye . The "hood" doesn't have that gritty look that u expect.

    • @melvinhhcp3615
      @melvinhhcp3615 2 роки тому +3

      That's because decades ago, the hood used to be the suburbs. White folks moved out, once Black people & immigrants started moving in. As such, the landscaping is still there, but the environment is drastically different. Inner city LA is the ghetto.

    A better question is... *Why does a notorious spot in a city NOT get "cleaned up" by the authorities?*
    The rot of a city is allowed if it only negatively affects the lives of the "low class" people.
    *If a spot in my city has a reputation for crime and violence... that business gets shutdown!*
