Every 2 days.. and if the lines weren't straight or even... "Get back out there and redo it... And go a different direction with the lines... Sad part is im 31 now and still obsess over the lawn even though i hated it growing up
a couple months ago, my dad fell off of a ladder, broke his clavicle, broke several ribs and he had a concussion. He spent the night in the hospital, checked out in the morning, then he went home and cut grass...

Update, in the last 35 years he’s been to the doctor or hospital once, when he cut off three fingers and they sewed them back on.

True story... I had a brain surgery June 14 2011. Got out of the hospital June 17. July 1 my dad expected me to be mowing his yard and raking leaves.
I couldn’t walk correctly until October of 2011. And he still made fun of me for it.

My husband passed away in May 2019. One of the things I changed was to cancel the lawn service and bought a battery walk-behind mower. At the height of summer I question my decision but overall I do a pretty good job.

That's how my dad is. Its even worse because Im 16 and have about 11 yards I cut. And he goes around criticizing every single one.
My dad passed away 20 years ago. I can still hear his Voice of Correction if I make a mowing mistake. 😊

Dad had me "mowing" around 8yrs old. Pretty much just held the handle and followed thinking I was actually doing it. In my teens we moved, the lawn was my responsibility. When we got neighbors their son (my age) told me he got in so much trouble everytime they saw me mowing. It was along the lines of "you see that little girl out there mowing, why cant you?". Mowing was always a chore but I loved it. Rented my dads house and he would legit stop by and make sure landscaping/trimming and mowing would be done! Took a lot of pride in the work needed for that yard before I moved!

Hahaha..totally get this. Several years ago I sustained a fibular head fracture, tibial plateau fracture, partial tears in my MCL, LCL, and ACL, sprained my ankle and had a bone marrow edema. Walked around on it for a week thinking it would get better 🤣 it didn’t
I tore all 3 myself ,got a donor tendon to replace one of them ,couldn't walk for a year and cant jog lift anything heavy cant do much really

Such a true video. This was my story last summer, pushed through mowing with a sprained knee and sprained the opposite knee. Then, my ‘good’ neighbor helps the following week and drops comments about how he’s always here to help with any performance issues I encounter. The punk.
