My dad always exaggerated his injuries so that we would have to mow. But when one of us hurt ourselves, you better not catch yourself complaining around dad!
True story... I had a brain surgery June 14 2011. Got out of the hospital June 17. July 1 my dad expected me to be mowing his yard and raking leaves. I couldn’t walk correctly until October of 2011. And he still made fun of me for it.
My husband passed away in May 2019. One of the things I changed was to cancel the lawn service and bought a battery walk-behind mower. At the height of summer I question my decision but overall I do a pretty good job.

I sighting of the Lawn Care Nut in the wild! You’re the reason that I’m dominating my neighbors! Lawn care was always a chore, you made it fun. You are good at what you do, don’t stop. I’ll see you in the lawn!
I feel so much sympathy for this dad. Wanna cuddle him and whisper in his ears that everything's ok!!! Then put him on a chair in the sun with a can of beer in his hand to cheer him up.
Dad had me "mowing" around 8yrs old. Pretty much just held the handle and followed thinking I was actually doing it. In my teens we moved, the lawn was my responsibility. When we got neighbors their son (my age) told me he got in so much trouble everytime they saw me mowing. It was along the lines of "you see that little girl out there mowing, why cant you?". Mowing was always a chore but I loved it. Rented my dads house and he would legit stop by and make sure landscaping/trimming and mowing would be done! Took a lot of pride in the work needed for that yard before I moved!
Such a true video. This was my story last summer, pushed through mowing with a sprained knee and sprained the opposite knee. Then, my ‘good’ neighbor helps the following week and drops comments about how he’s always here to help with any performance issues I encounter. The punk.
Hahaha..totally get this. Several years ago I sustained a fibular head fracture, tibial plateau fracture, partial tears in my MCL, LCL, and ACL, sprained my ankle and had a bone marrow edema. Walked around on it for a week thinking it would get better 🤣 it didn’t
As a landscaper I cant f'ing wait to have my own home. I am going to landscape the hell out of it. I didn't realise how much I enjoy mowing and string trimming until I got a job doing it. I hated it as a kid hahaha
Looks like they ran the piping in the basement floor joist space but didn't drop the pipe down inside the exterior basement wall so the faucet would be lower outside.
Split level house and that is where the floor is to run the pipe through. If you then run it down the side it costs more in materials and increases freezing chances.
My dad was thrilled when I was old enough to handle mowing the lawn. I look forward to the day when my son can take over for me. Watch football? Mow lawn? Have lunch? Trim the edges? Have some beer with my buddies? Pull weeds. Or my son does the junk and I have the fun. Lawn care is an annoying necessity.
This is not real, I can tell they're actors. A real dad would never go to the doctor in the first place.
@Supreme47 he was joking.. about dads going to the doctor lol
@Supreme47 hahahahah ur soooo dumb i actually feel bad !!! poor kid!!!
I watched my step dad old friend catch a football. Broke his collar bone I shit u not.
My dad had to because he was hit in head with a minivan

The reason my dad had kids was so we could mow for him.
LOL true😂🇺🇸💪👊
I had kids so they can bring me the remote and beer.

Great work

My only problem is my dad hasn’t been to the doctors in 30 years
That’s one of the reasons women live longer than men. They go to the dr
Dad has had a hernia for almost a year now and still refuses to go
Update, in the last 35 years he’s been to the doctor or hospital once, when he cut off three fingers and they sewed them back on.

Get the air monarchs
🤣😂 go blue!
The Air Mow-abbs would be a better choice, excellent ankle support.
Air monarchs all day
I’d say Air Jordan’s 6, but we all know no dad would ever spend that much on shoes.
My old man bought one pair of Jordan’s when I was a kid and he wore them once because he didn’t want to mess them up. Lol
Excellent summary of my entire life.

I only let my son cut the back yard. Then I don't have to worry about anyone really seeing it
That's how my dad is. Its even worse because Im 16 and have about 11 yards I cut. And he goes around criticizing every single one.
