I mention this because some of the original music used is a reference with what’s going on in the show and they replace it with stupid generic music. The ones that I noticed are in ep 5, 6, 12 and 22. Anyway - this show starts out very much like a monster of the week type thing but definitely starts to have more overarching themes next season. Can’t wait for more!
I think you have to actually physically buy the DVD for the correct music. I have tried many streaming services and they all have the wrong music. I bought the discs anyway, being a fan I'm interested in all the special features too
I got to just say - I'm totally here for the "charlotte from the 100" in last episode, the "Hailey it's me Jackson", the "Brothers Bond", your continued use of teen wolf end credit sound, and every hilarious reference during your reactions!
I have a suggestion for JerBear: Supernatural is actually more about the main characters than about the individual story. So maybe, when editing, focus more on the brothers (their interactions and stuff) instead, rather than focusing on the case itself. At least from what I understand, most people are here for the brothers (and later important characters of course). Also, someone else mentioned that the Netflix version doesn't have the right music, and it's better to watch the Prime Video version.

But binging a reactor means no interaction, so pros and cons. Glad you are enjoying the show. I love season 1's approach to letting us get to know the brothers. It was a great foundation to build on. This episode we get to start to see that Dean is more than just a jokester, but he actually cares about the people he is saving. Sam is understandably trapped in his grief abd rage right now. You noticed the difference between the 1st episode characterizations and this episode. Their approaches have almost just flipped places. It's fascinating. Enjoy Dead in the Water!

Ep 2 was a good episode but I enjoyed the pilot a bit more. I do have a soft spot for season 1 but I do think it takes a bit to really get going... I didn't love that we were in the same setting for the entire episode but that's also kind of the normal thing for this series. I do find the "monster of the week" thing fun though. I am with Sam, I want them to go and try to find their father lol. We need JDM!

can't tell which source you're using to watch but an fyi is that the original music was too expensive to license (for the 1st season) on netflix. Almost all of the music used in the show is classic rock.
