Just a little advice. Having one more egg than needed when you're baking is never going to hurt anything. Three or four more than needed, that's overdoing it, but one? That's fine. It just means more protein for you. Also, baking mixes? They always lie. They only way they make super thick brownies for the pictures on the boxes is if one, they don't use their actual product or two, they use tiny pans, or three, they do both. The brownies always end up flat and thin if you're making them out of a box. If you want a little more substance next time, get two or three boxes and make it all at once to double or triple the recipe. Your brownie chips were absolutely beautiful, by the way. I loved this video, and enjoyed seeing you bake. I wish I had some brownie chips and Blue Bell ice cream right now.

what's an easy bake? I'm not from America..
An easy bake is a kids toy oven that cooks "cakes" that you can eat
+Emily V it's like an oven for little kids and you can learn different recipes on there.
It's a Minnie oven that has a light bulb in it and is supposed to cook the little cakes but for them to be done it takes about a day

Lizzie, you're so funny. I'm guessing that box of brownies you made had 2 bags of mix in there - 1 chocolate, and 1 cheesecake? I'll bet your pan was the right size, but the chocolate and cheesecake brownies are meant to be mixed separately, and then swirled together before baking. Since you only made half the batter, they ended up twice as thin as they should be. If you get a box with just chocolate mix in it, it should work out better next time. Good luck!
You just have to use a brownie pan not cake pan next time so they are thicker. Still, they looked good with the ice cream!

Lizzie I LOVE the music! Have you seen The Carmenator Channel? Her name is Emily Carmen and she has a rare metabolic condition called Porphyria you guys should meet! :-)
She starts off the video with marble brownie mix and but ends up with regular brownies. The instructions call for two eggs because one is for for the vanilla and one is for the chocolate.
I don't know what happened but I don't think the size of the pan is the only issue. It really isn't thaty big
