Jazakallah khair for such beautiful class. I was looking for this rule to ne explain to me. I enjoyed by you having examples which helps just need to go though my notes and get into my head.
Please do some more class like this. I feel and wish i was taught these rule from young age i wouldnt be struggling. I cant wait for the maddud. May allah reward you Abundantly ameen. Please keep me in ur dua that Allah makes it easy. Also like to understand these rules when reading if you could help please.

Ustadh you mentioned that the letters of idhaar under laam at ta’reef are 14, however you have written 13. Is that because there are only 13 letters or has 1 been missed out?

Yes, there should be 14 letters but I unintentionally forgot to add the letter ه (haa) on the list.

In which category will الحمد come?
وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته
It will be:
الاظهار clear
لام التّعريف or لام الفعل
لام التعريف
because حَمْد is a noun and in the arabic language, لام التعريف enters upon nouns and not verbs (فعل).
