I think it was pretty clear that if either Needles got the most votes, Needle would've been eliminated. Needle says "I'm still scared though" after WOAH Bunch Needle is safe, indicating that she's still at risk for elimination, and Book also tells Needle that playing both teams almost got her eliminated.

Something to consider though, is that in IDFB 1 Needle trys to enforce Freesmart rules on Golf Ball, so I dont think she would have been permanently separated from FS if FS Needle was eliminated since she is shown enforcing their rules in IDFB🤷♂️ Guess we’ll have to see when IDFB comes out. I actually remember getting fake spoiled that Freesmart Needle got eliminated and now I actually wish for those fake spoilers. One because Pencil didn’t deserve to get eliminated and two, I wanted to see what would’ve happened
honestly, i feel like they either would have only sent away one needle, or sent her away fully, in my eyes it was likely just an excuse to keep needle safe, because even if one of her got out, she still had the other
i love how bfdia is just genuinely fun while not taking itself seriously, i feel like its why its generally regarded as the 2nd to the best season in the franchise, there really isnt a lot of complaints other than some inconsistances or bias w the writing throughout episodes but they are generally just fun watches
and because future seasons are already out nickel and tennis ball time traveling to the future is possible and with that we finally got to see what donut was talking about in bfb 1
i'm so sad that pencil is no longer competing as BFDIA was clearly her best her best season and she really felt like a main character! i do feel like she's still going to play a significant role though, with needle and book still in the game and the secret about the science museum needle talked about in IDFB 1 regarding freesmart. she may no longer be competing but she isn't gone!

Pencil getting was a bit disappointing, but now with Pin not being a Karen and is back to being good, along with Book becoming relevant again, there's no characters left in BFDIA that I don't love, so I think I'm going to be experiencing some problems figuring out who to dislike.
Although seeing pencil gone sucked, it was necessary to save needle cause it was stupid for her to have two selections to be voted for and ALMOST got eliminated!- the elimination literally proved it right there that needle was going to be automatically eliminated if she got the most votes from EITHER option.
Tbh I love everyone left in BFDIA, and Fries and Needle was a pairing I didn’t know I needed, I really loved their characters in this episode and want to see more of them in BFDIA. Pin and Coiny are the last real pairing left and tbh I want them to be split up, like Pin should go next time they are ufe and Coiny can stay in longer and they can both shine in two different seasons, (tho Pin might go next in TPOT).
Along side what you mentioned in the video, another thing I didn't like in the episode was that W.O.A.H Bunch were safe from UFE this episode. I still dont get why people are upset that Pencil is eliminated. Everyone js acts like losing Pencil in a season is lost hope even tho she is currently also in TPOT. Is it that bad that Pencil loses her chances in one of the seasons she competes in? If people dont want Pencil out, then maybe keep her in TPOT and save her from elimination. Fr. She's just a whiny brat in tpot. She thinks she suffered the most in the exit despite some of the exitors literally only competing in one or two seasons. And she really got mad that roboty saved the exitors just because she somehow thinks she should have saved everyone. Pencils whole "crash out" was just extremely stupid and poorly written. It clearly shows the writers think a character getting mad over a stupid thing in their past is a "character arc" I swear tpot writing is just so bad sometimes. The writers were doing good with the pencil book and icy ark. It showed that pencil was becoming a better person and was starting to care about two people who she used to consider alternates, and it really made me feel remorse for pencil seeing her desperation after being trapped in the exit, it showed that her time in the exit really affected her and changed her to appreciate others more, but of course the writers had to throw all that away just for a stupid little moment. Pencil literally just wanted to become friends with book and icy just so shes not all alone which shows she's still selfish and doesn't give a damn about improving her self. She only cares about being nice when she's at risk of getting out. Tpot 15 its self is just so over rated in general. Me personally I would take tpot 10, 9, or 13 any day of the week.

The last time she lost she got Eliminated so of course she would try not to lose again since she was in the exit for 6 years which can take a tole on someone’s mental state.
