What a fantastic piece of software and a very interesting talk. A small correction for other viewers: TETRA actually has 4 timeslots and uses 25 KHz channels (not 8 timeslots and 50 KHz channels). I really hope TETRA will be implemented because it's such a great sounding mode compared to all the AMBE based modes (I have a few samples on my channel, just search TETRA on it). Also dPMR would be very cool. We could have linking of all the cheap chinese dPMR radios with different vocoders, and finally have someone with a compatible radio to talk to! At the moment I have a couple of dPMR radios just gathering dust because nobody else around me has compatible radios.
This man almost single-handedly changed amateur radio. Bravo Jonathan. You’re a gentleman and a scholar.
