American prisons are third world places. Other countries have prisons that still treat prisoners with dignity. Two rights don’t make a right.

I’m not in Alabama and I can see that non violent offenders serving 18 months or less (which shouldn’t even be in prison) are being targeted right before they’re supposed to be released. Why the f*ck are they in prison for one and for two why the f*ck are they in the medium/maximum prisons anyway?

I’m from England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 and I’m here because I’ve heard how bad Alabama prisons are. Shocking. Absolutely shocking. Our prisons are similar, just not fit for purpose at all. Weird corruption going on, officers not fit for the job. Yet I’m here like wow, sort it out Alabama, this is inhuman. You can’t allow what goes on to go on the way it does. I heard about a young man who got a 6 month sentence and it cost him his whole life. The other inmates tied him up and used him for days and killed him. I’m guessing prison officers looked the other way. As they often do. These people are traitors to their country if you ask me. Epstine didn’t kill himself, it was allowed! Americans are passionate and have enormous strength, if you come together and work for the cause you can change things for these poor young men. It needs to be so massive that the corrupt are forced to justice due to popular and overwhelming demand. How it happens I don’t know. A lot of people banding together.

Incarceration does not warrant a death sentence.! Some folks have non violent offenses and housed in facilities like this. U better mind that you or none of your loved ones want be the next victim! A coward mentality always say stupid things about others situation and then beg for mercy when it happens to them.

Yes understaffed and underfunded also Majorly corrupted! In many Casey the correctional officers are the ones bringing in the contraband, they sell it to inmates at outrageous prices, confiscate it and then sell it to them again.
