    That's it! You've got my taste buds going, haven't been fishing for a while but after this I'm off out for a few hours tomorrow to try the bread out. More great videos please.

    Very nice. Bread is to me the best bait all year round, for any species and in any kind of water. Thanks for sharing.

    Great vid Richard as usual mate. Been fishing park lake with bread and had to up the strength of float rod. Actually using 11ft Avon with float. Catching loads of carp up to low doubles and odd tench. Also other fish. Found rolling bread in to little dough balls hooking it and getting more fish than flake. Think their pulling flake off. Best of all I’m fishing as struggling with money so cheep as chips way of getting my fishing in.

      How many ways are there to fish bread. If there was ever a super bait, bread has to be it.

    Ah. I was fishing the river this weekend on bread and caught whopping roach of 2 and a half pound. Lots of miss bites from little fry. Lots of chub on the top as well. All though I seen a different fish but I’m not shore what it was. It was grey ish in colour but looked like a perch because of its spiny dorsal fin. Any ideas

      Jackthekingfisher 2002 sounds like a grayling to me.

      could be a ruffe, grayling dont have spiny dorsals and are more silver than gray

    Enjoyed the video by the way. Just a quick question. I don’t have a feeder rod but if I stick with small feeders will a flour rod be ok. Just lightly under casting on the canal

      i suppose it depends how light the float rod is, i used to use a pellet waggler rod for feeder fishing, give it a few test cast start off very short and if it feels ok then you know

    You need to do a decent 30 minute to an hour film of a full day, it’d be great

      I will consider it, thank you for your suggestion. Best of luck with your fishing.

      @@AmateurAngling you’ve got a real talent and really good knack of explaining things. I started fishing in the first lockdown, I’m 33, your videos along with TA FISHING enabled me to catch very well for a beginner. I thank you very much for all your films. Would love to see more.

    Superb one, again! Could I ask what kind of rod you're using?

    • @AmateurAngling
      @AmateurAngling  6 років тому

    Saying all the small roach die off, makes no sense.The species would disappear if that was true.

      A few survive,,most are gobbled up by predators,,,law of The jungle

      @@joncowley8961 That's not how it works, in the food chain you have lots of prey fish, and a smaller amount of predator fish that feed on them. If they eat all the prey fish, what do the live on. And if they do eat all the prey fish something is out of balance.
