Hi, my husband and I found your channel when we went on a 2 week holiday from the UK, around Italy. The images on the tv remind us of the cartoons we watched as sixties children. The songs take me back to the music my parents played. Perfect! We continue to watch your channel as we are now back home. We tune in first thing in the morning for breakfast. Well done, it's a very unique channel and a retreat from the difficult times we live in.
I would sleep on my grandparents' couch as a kid so I would wake up to them already sitting in their chairs, silently rocking and the small *tink*ing of a teaspoon stirring coffee still too hot from the stove. There was a pecan tree out the front window, and the mailbox by the road beyond it. Once I was awake they would put on a record while my task was to bring in the mail. Then I would make a cup of chocolate milk to share in the morning coffee and contemplation before growing restless. They had a number of vhs tapes in a short cupboard, but I watched the same ones usually - The Sound of Music, a John Wayne movie called The Cowboys, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and a Bugs Bunny tape with a few war era bits on it (Bugs trying to stop a gremlin from sabotaging a bomber plane i think?). Ah, in any case if you read this thanks for letting me ramble on
Tonight, I'm 32, listening to this wonderful playlist in a camper with my dog while it rains gently outside. Reading "Nightmare Alley" by William Lindsay Grisham, and in this moment, all is well.
