This is beautiful. For Aaron. For us all. Thank you Mr Randolph.
Love how he make everything looking so easy to play! 😅😅😅
Insane !!!!!! He kills it !
His ride patterns are soo nasty, I forgot what drummer he said he got his ride ideas from, Ive been trying to develop that kind of funky-bell mentality in all genres..........he’s freaking awesome
That was grooooovy !!!
Stanley's feel is INCREDIBLE
This is so badass - Ive watched it at least 20 times since it released.
We all do mistake, but that stick spin tho.. just wow!!!
Jared Steffi I'm going to rehearse losing a sticks so I can pull that spin at gigs
Keith Greene 😂...
One of my favourite modern drummers. Stanley kills it every time! #bringbackthehat
Groovy! Good stuff Stanley!
His groove is so infectious!!
..I for one certainly enjoy seeing and hearing him doing some soulful sounds..
one of my favorite drummers right here
That snare though! Killing it!
Stanley is just WOW! Always. Incredibly cool drummer with great ideas and a ton of a groove in his pocket.
Couldn't agree more. An inspiration to us all.
Great Verse... Chorus is working on me..
this guy is amazing . one of the best hands down
That was incredible. Glad to see the pocket first and foremost, so musical.
I didnt get this dude before but this is simply glorious from start to end. Really good playing.
Fenomenale
I`ve watched countless drum vids but this has it all !! Superb
Such a huge groove! Randolph is a beast!
Very interesting ways it’s up playing his set
that's so awesome !
This is so good omg that groove has a mind of it's own
Great playing and awesome tuning
AWESOME.
great feel
sweet playing!. love the k zildjian ride
I'm not sure I've seen a video with Stanley where he doesn't play the bulk of the song on his side snare. Begs the question of why not swap the side snare and main lol.
Either way, it definitely isn't slowing him down!
Espetacular!!
Legendary
7:02 omfg god dayum
What else would you expect from a drummer that plays for the legendary funk master himself..... Stevie Wonder, nothing but funkiness
This is exactly the reason I became a fan of Stanley's drumming.
Sem palavras!
Correcting that mistake with his stick was nice and smooth. Love it.👍🥁🥁
Tooop lembrar-se bateras unidos jamais será vencidos ☕ muito bom.
Feeling good! 👍 😀🎶
Baita groove hein mano!!!
Best
Favorite drummer! FUNKY
Damien Greene Yes! I mean, what else would truly expect from a drummer that plays for the funk master himself....Stevie Wonder
He was with a band called nujynisis back in the day! I didn't expect the change to funk from the fusion I hear. Stevie is a good representation, James, Bootsy, James Jamison, Larry Graham, Sly and the fam, P Funk(pyschodelic funk), I mean the list goes on.
Adam Deitch
Damien Greene mine too. I can't stop listening and practicing his groove approaches. The "What you on" track is my material list right now.
Show de bola✅
OMG 4:51
That was tasty, I was dreadinggg it be like every gospel drum video where it all sounds the same. You have you own style brotha so my hat goes off to you. Only critique is try learning the push and pull method, especially for your ride hits, if you do that they will just jump off the cymbal into your hand so you get a free hit! It's tough at first but Dave Weckl has a great video about it. It will save so much energy and prevent injuries in the future from needless straining. =)
wdrumz LOL. He has made his technique work for him just fine, after all, he currently is and has been the drummer for Stevie Wonder 😂
Oh really haha this I did not know. Hey I have seen plenty of pros on here that have awful technique that would hurt them long-term. I was that guy for years, I used to chop wood as my teacher put it haha for my snare hitting motion. That push and pull was the best thing I probably learned on drums though. It makes your doubles sound SICK. There aren't a lot of drummers who can do clean, fast, double stroke rolls where they sound like fast singles. It let's you play Carter Beauford hi-hat grooves with ease.
wdrumz for us normal guys, could you recommend a specific video to check out regarding the push and pull technique?

Also if you want you can add me on FB, just message me on youtube and I'll send it over. I will try to send you a detailed video that my teacher showed me that is genius to figure out.
i'm not one for defending or all about internet argument but this guy trying to give a lesson tip to stanley randolph is the funniest shit i've ever read in a while
Daaayum this guy 👌😎
🔥🔥
I’m surprised his side snare is not his main snare
who sing this song???
Diggin' the hi-hat on the and.
...ok,ok,ok, um gonna say this just this once, man you are really playing that old school song.Thats what makes a good drummer, the ability to reach, sometime that's all you can do, is REACH..
4:48 nice recovery
Yo can anyone tell me what ride that is? Its to funky sounding for me not to have
Yo Carter.. you seeing this
groovemaster
What’s the stack he’s using? Anyone know ???
wow
Somebody get that guy some IEM's.
Who sing this song ?
Yusef Hunter did you find it?
Naw I didn't
I think The BBC (Brandon Brown Collection)
Stevie Wonder's Drummer.. Dude is Nice!
does he have holes on his tom reso heads?
yeah to get the concert tom sound
Just realised he uses exact same sticks as me
Finley Thompson drums SAME
It sounds like Stanley, but it can’t be. He’s not wearing his hat
hahahahahahahaha
This guy is his twin brother. Just as funky
I'm starting to think that you have to be chubby to be badass drummer :) Stanley Randolph, Dennis Chambers, Eric Moore, Aaron Spears... I have to gain some weight :)
Turn down the backing track. It's killing me here.
I think he sounds better with Yamaha
It's all good except the hair
...I truly must comend you Stanley, this is so far out of your usual way of playing..
