Lando: "My first memory of F1 is two of my current competitors racing for my current team"
GG Boys! 😄
kinda funny if you put it that way
Big flex
It sounds like Yuki and Lando's first F1 memories were both of Lewis and Fernando fighting in 2007!
Are you family of Jim?
Fun fact: Most drivers's first memories were in the time when Kimi and Fernando were racing in the race
tako nekako
Russell got his first F1 memories after Kimi and Alonso became world champion.😂
hahahahaha
@@felipepaul4052 also Lewis
Jest jest
It’s genuinely insane how Lando says his earliest memory was Lewis, then the next person in the video is Lewis
Also, realizing that Seb, Lewis, Kimi and Fernando have raced against all 3 Schumachers
The actual insane thing is Lando's earliest memory is from 2007, the year Kimi won his championship, and fernando was already a two time world champion
That was an epic season indeed, and in my opinion, the best looking McLaren car ever!
@@giovannilloretsorribas2836 So have Lewis and Seb. Ralf was with Toyota in 2007.
@@DRA25dra thx, I didn't remember
imagine being at the 1992 German GP and there is a little kid next to you in the stands who is gonna win 4 WDCs
while watching a three-time world champion and a future seven-time champion on the track 😱
Well, you never know, maybe nowadays a future champ is sitting next to you 😌
Well nowadays the kid that will be a future champion is watching the race from his dad's private jet :)
Kimi: Well the great pyramids had just been erected...
The man is as old as time
Kimi's first livetime experience was catching the seventh infinity stone after the Big Bang.
It was the stone of emotional coolness.
It has been 84 years...
Why is that your pfp
🤣🤣🤣
Almost everyone: Late 1990’s early 2000’s
Kimi and Fernando: 1980’s
Tsunoda: late 200's early 2010s
haha yeah I noticed that too xD
Lewis talked about Senna and Prost battling lol. Thats late 80's, and 1990, 1991ish
Lewis and Seb got early 90s memories 😉
Makes me feel so old!
Alonso couldn't even watch the races but still fell in love with the sport. That's true passion.
and determination
Check out Kubica's beyond the grid podcast. Was a similar story. The only motorsport he could watch when growing up was the BTCC from 2 years previous
@@samfitzpatrick7891 and Karun Chandok (sorry for spelling error) he had to get a friend from england to tape it and post it to india.
To be perfectly fair, the Spanish GP at Jerez was always broadcasted live on Spanish TV. I know because I watched them all. It is true that for many other races you only got the start and the last lap, because there was just 2 channels and usually all sports went on the second one, so you would get sailing and cycling and what not during the race... it was extremely frustrating and I'm sure Alonso's memories are a bit blurry because of that frustration that all F1 fans in Spain shared at the time.
@@gorkab8461 My first memory of F1 is Alonso winning in Hungaroring 2003 broadcasted by the 2nd Chanel of Publiic Spaniish Televisión. But something I noticed at the time its I didnt see the race at the time because I see the race in the afternoon, they put the race because Alonso wins.
Seb's smile tho of how his passion of formula one when the first time he saw it with his dad at 1992 makes you appreciate him even more then we already is as his fans
That's the year I was born.... Amazing how times flew past
@@debanjanmukherjee4322 it is, I remember back the first time I saw seb at the 2008 italian grandprix in his toro rosso, tho dumb 6 year old me thought it was a red bull back then

Not sure hes smiling when he crashes into the back of ocon though
@@gachaharemseries2029 Can we blame you tho? They look so similar
Russell: "Jenson Button 2009..."
Kimi: "Keke's last year in Formula 1..."
Holy **** that's a difference of 23 years, crazy to think that they are both on the same grid now...😅
Think how many careers never begun because Kimi carried on his hobby lol
@@SWatchik haha that's one way to put it
Keke's smoking a cigarret before racing is iconic.
@@7xr1e20ln8 I know he offers so much to the team but it is true. So many amazing F2 drivers to never get onto the grid as there's so few seats available
@@SWatchik well he performs better then most of the ppl from the back of the grid so i wouldn't say he's holding back newer young talent
kimi: bwoah, i saw some cars and liked it, so i started driving them fast and it became a fun hobby to do in my spare time
haha😂
hahah
Also kimi:when i got bored i switched and hit the pit
That's the most Kimiest thing ever xD
10 years old Kimi watching F1: "bwoah, this could be a nice hobby for me"
Yuki's earliest memory was probably last race in Bahrain
😭😭😭
Yooo 😂
@@user-ry3no8mc6z the only thing faster than an F1 car is the woooooooosh over Ur head
BRUUUHHHHHH
It's pretty crazy that Max's memories are from inside the F1 paddock, such a different life and perspective from any other driver on the grid. F1 drivers were normal people to him and Michael Schumacher was known as "Uncle Michael"
Also seems odd that hes known as 'dad' to one of them
@@PhillipsAndDat what do you mean?
Schumacher's actual son is racing and was in this video 😅
@@kimmi5419 and his memory is in living room because Michael didn't bring him to any of the race
also how funny it was Hamilton trying to make out him and his dad were watching senna and prost battle it out from the paddock
Some people will remember Mazespin as their first memory
Nobody deserves that punishment
@@filipg626 At least they had something to laugh about
I feel so sorry for them
He wasn't in this, right? Or did I just miss him
Poor kids
Schumi Jr need to stop being so pure, my heart cant take it
What about Mazepin?
Kimi & Fernando: "My first memory was seeing Fangio win his first tittle"
It kills me that Seb never won at Hockenheim, especially after now knowing about his childhood memories learning about F1 at the track
His hometown is like 40 Km away, its like his backyard.
At least he won at the Nurburgring
Sadly his best chance of winning there started his downward spiral in 2018
it kills you when he is not talented enough to win ???? oh you must be worshiper fanboy
I love how Kimi is such a meme for just being himself
Seb always has the most amazing way of putting his impressions into words. A true living legend and hopefully back on the podium someday.
He is a great man, with great charisma. Hope we can see him winning again
He did it this weekend yay
It was nice to see him on podium in Hungary 2021 but unfortunately he ran out of the necessary amount of fuel for the test
Lol at Valtteri's response. "My earliest memory is watching a race and it was cool."
More of an answer you’d expect from Kimi 😂
Typical Finnish answer tbh
Would have thought it to be about Mika Häkkinen.
Valterri is like a slightly more talkative version of Kimi
@@tayberkdaltaban It probably was, but apparently he didn't remember specifics.
Daniel's first memory is the sweetest thing ever.
That final smile by Seb makes me wanna hug him and tell him that he is an absolute legend 🥲
Might not be the best driver but Without a doubt he is the nicest and most genuine driver on the grid
Seriously! Such an awesome human being.
That's such a creepy thing to state...
The guy's not a child, his a 33 year old with a wife, and kids...
Yeah man true.
What is it about slow-seb that makes his fangirls constantly write embarrassing comments like this? Does the simping for this clown ever end?
Sebastian's best memory: getting interviewed by ted kravitz when he was at sauber

Ahh.... absolutely.....
That was one of the best moments...

One day drivers will say their first memory was Hamilton vs Rosberg.
Yup, that's mine 😂
Even mine

And that's totally alright
That's not a bad thing

Lol mine was the same race but it was "Fernando you can overtake petrov" the radio was legit my first memory and then I vividly remember the photo of Fernando post race sitting in the pitlane garage and his team like consoling him. I was 10 and somehow just that last 20-25 laps made me a Fernando fan for that whole era
Vettel's grin at the end telling yet another story of how much he actually loves this sport.
I don't even care that much about how well is Seb performing anymore. Just looking at him and his passion to this sport is so great and inspiring. He became modest and extremely likeable and I hope he will enjoy racing even if he won't be competing for the championship anymore.
Yuki Tsunoda’s “memory” is probably something still fresh in our minds and wasn’t included.
If he has a an early f1 memory its probobly some japanese gp race mybe final race at fuji in 2008 or 2012 when Kamui Kobayashi finished on the podium.
@@renarsklavins9850 He already said it is Fuji 2008 when he watched Hamilton race for mclaren, calling him ''the best driver in the world''.
Kimi looks like he always has something better to do than answer questions 😂
Its his hobby so what did we expect
Why even bother asking him anything, the answer is "I don't know", "We'll see" or "bwoah" 99% of the times.
He does. Could be spending time with his wife and kids.
Lando: the chrome and the orange was really cool
2007 McLaren F1 Cars: no orange at all
I think he meant red.
its a reddish orange.
It was red Vodafone livery. Not orange at all, because there was and still is another Telecompany orange, also named Orange (yeah, French and their originality).
Maybe the orange was referring to the 2006 McLaren test livery
I think Lando meant Lewis’ helmet
Seb looks so happy reminiscing, I miss that old Seb and I really hope he doesn’t give up, I still think he’s got it
Having Sebastian and Lewis in the thumbnail was a nice touch F1 Admin
I love how the description has the names of the four veterans who are now legends of the sport
Yeah, the G.O.A.Ts
14 world championships right there..
They missed Schumacher tho!
And now Lando is racing against his earliest memory of F1....amazing!!
Kimi and Valtteri. You can see the passion in their eyes.
Tsunoda: "My earliest F1 moment was Rosberg being world champion over Lewis and....".
Actually he said watching lewis win at fuji in 2007 ...
Tsunoda was following F1 way before 2016, mate.

Imola 🇮🇹
Ricciardo is smiling every second. man really love his smile ❤️
I love how Lando's first memory had Lewis in it. The youth of F1 at it's finest.
Those Hakkinen vs Schumacher battles are my first memory. It’s funny because at that time there was no social media and we had barely any access to the drivers and as a Schumi fan I always thought Mika Hakkinen was a terrible villain 😂😂. Years later I found out he’s the sweetest guy and they’re actually friends behind the scenes ahaha.

"Woah!! Cool down Jamal don't pull out the 9ine"

You joke but that's my earliest, strongest one.
Lando seems quite emotional when looking back at these days
well it must be nice when your earliest memory of f1 are two of your current competitors racing for your current team
i'm surprised no one said their first memories involved kimi
@MyGaming Den tbf 2007 was all about Ham vs Alo I think it wasn't until the penultimate race that most people realized there's a chance of Kimi winning the championship.
Mwoah I mean that's how it goes, and uh, yeah.
@@lockdown550 It was only about Ham vs Alonso because of British media and Kimi having two retirements mid-season which weren't his fault but put him behind the McLaren drivers a bit.
Otherwise he always had the most podiums and wins that season...
@@Bluz1 Back in the day I bought the 2007 season DVD and was very disappointed. Correct title would have been Hamiltons season 2007. Only at the end it was said btw Kimi won the championship.
@@OOpiste Yeah, the Brits hyped Lewis since his first race and focused the season on him + Alonso as the enemy. No surprise your season recap DVD was Hamilton based.
Many try to discredit Kimi's title that season for "lucking" out while he was the best driver and almost lost another title due to reliability. Shame the season DVD barely focuses on him.
4:15 talks about 1992, F1 shows footage of 1993.......
It's funny the memories from young drivers features the old drivers they are competing against today. Crazy
1st memory was going into my Dad’s Mancave in 2010 who was watching the 2010 Monaco GP, asked who a certain driver was and he told he was Lewis Hamilton, supported himself ever since, guess I just liked his livery and yellow helmet.
I wish he'd go back to that plain yellow helmet one last time. Truly a classic.

The other half: 2000’s
Kimi and Fernando: 80’s
Kimi had raced eight years in F1 before George even had his first memory about the sport.
@@eljefe9652 Kimi and Nando were WDCs before George's first memory

My earliest memory: Schumacher, Montoya, Hakkinen, Trulli, Coulthard times , epic battles, the sound of F1 ❤
My first memory of F1 was watching the sports news and seeing Kimi's tyre failure in Nurburgring 2005.
Mine was him getting a pole at Monaco by 0.5 seconds over alonso and Renault team principal applauding Kimi.

[Two leading cars crash]
Commentator : This is Amazing
My first memory: “you just hang in there sunshine”.
My earliest F1 memory is seeing Michael Schumacher in the Ferrari car. I don't remember what race or what year it is, but I do remember what my dad said at the time : "Look, he is Michael Schumacher. He is a multiple world champion and one of the best driver in F1 history" (until now, my dad is still saying the same about Michael and I do agree).
What I also remember about my first F1 memory is that I was so amazed by the pitstop. I was thinking like, "wow, these guys are so quick. They can change all the tyres in seconds". And that was the reason why I started to love F1, even tho I wasn't interested in racing at all
Kimi’s first memories of formula one:
When Farina wins the 1950 season hahaha
Love how the young driver's first memories are of the older drivers. So awesome
No one who mentioned Kimi at Monte Carlo 2006 as their first epic memory. When after the retreat he went to his boat to sunbathe.
I just watched that whole race the other day. Kimi is an absolute legend
Yeah he retired and few minutes later he resurfaces in his swimming trunks on a yacht lol
First Kimi gave Nico Rosberg Number 6 because he wanted it.
Now Kimi earliest memories of F1 was Keke Rosberg retirement?
I don't know cap, but am I seeing a pattern here aha
Keke was Finnish, so it makes sense that Kimi's earliest memory is of him, and Nico wanted no.6 because his dad won the championship with it
Alonso killing everyone with his thoughts, so genuine!!!! Daniel with emotions too!!
I half expected Kimi to say his earliest memory of watching Formula 1 was 2010/2011, the years he didn't have a seat. 😅😅
1994, Imola, Tosa corner during qualy. I was 7 years old. Can't forget.
My earliest memory in F1 was "Sebastian Vettel you are the world champion, the world champion, well done enjoy it you are the man "
First memory is Vettel in Red Bull 2010 at Interlagos.
Been a Seb fan ever since!!
My earliest memory is "No Kimi you'll not have a drink."
F1 memories, they're just heartwarming and all of us can't help it, it's like watching a very emotional movie.

Everytime I see Seb and Daniel, I feel so happy. I hope I get to see them when they come to Austin.
Lando's first memories watching lewis and Alonso battling in that Maclaren
now he is racing with them what an acomplishment
My earliest memory is sitting on my uncle couch with him and my dad watching Kimi slip on some oil and lose the lead to Schumacher, and I remember them cheering because they are massive Ferrari fans and me crying my eyes out because I really liked Kimi
Could you imagine being the son of an F1 Legend starting your first season in Formula 1. The pressure to perform would be immense.

4:40 same same but at the entry of the hairpin in canada, 15-20 feet from the track, like an earthcake
my earliest memory was lewis vs kimi in spa. had no idea what happened at that time but i just liked the chrome and red car with yellow helmet😂

My 1st memory was when Nigel Mansell faints in Dallas 1984. I cried. This was one of the hottest Formula One races ever. The air temperature was 104 °F (40 °C).

My family was a diehard Senna fan. My first memory of an F1 race was the 1993 German Grand Prix, where Senna spun in the first lap and had to wait for the entire field to pass before he could rejoin the race. He finished 4th but I understood why people loved him. An amazing recovery race.

It's nice to see the old drivers remember Ayrton Senna. 😥
Senna é um caso a parte pelos seus feitos e a mística que existe sobre ele, mas é uma questão de idade também, todos daqui um tempo serão "esquecidos" pelas novas gerações. Ao menos hoje existe internet pra rever.
