I heard this song this morning for the first time, and I so needed this song. Three weeks ago yesterday, my husband (48 years old) died of a sudden massive heart attack. Yesterday, I learned that our dog has lymphoma and has 2-3 months. Today I heard this and knew that God has not forgotten me, He is with me through all of it. I trust Him to stay in completely control of my life! God is good ... ALL the time!

Christina, I just read your reply and I'm heartbroken because I've gone through similar experiences. My wife died a little over two years ago. We put one dog to sleep and our first dog died. And yet, your comment at the end was so right on. If anyone else has gone through similar experiences you may reply to me.

A year ago last Sat, my daughter walked out of our lives, deciding to follow the ways of the world instead of the God of the universe, whom we taught her to worship. It's been a rough year but I trust that God will use this for His glory. On Sunday morning, a church we are visiting sang this and it blessed me so much to say these words out loud. Thank you, Michael, for always reminding us of truth in the middle of an enemy (and world) who lies to us all day long.

I have searched for this song today. I have been a lone parent and raised 2 boys on my own. After many years of waiting God has given us a new home last year & we had a builder recommended through Christian people we know and this builder has ruined my home. I am living in a building site with my son (my other son at uni I have asked him to stay there as can’t have him home with the house like this) and I need help. I was reminded of this song. Praying for help as it’s too big for me. Jesus help!!!

A very good friend of mine who loved and adored Jesus called Grace Boyes passed away a day ago and we sang this song at church today. It was so surreal and comforting. Not a person who was not in tears. God truly is sovereign over us. Even in times of heart aches, God is working beautifully. mumbi maina Sadly he passed away but God is still good! In the bad times God is good and in the good times God is good! He provided strength for my friend who's father died and her family. Her family did not even cry about his death and at the funeral they were happy. Thank you everyone for your prayers and thank you God!
