I bought an X MAXX about 6 months ago and I want one of these 2 stroke buggy this week ..... but bangood is saying 30-40 BUISNESS days for the cheapest one thats $489.00 but everyone else gets it for $389.00. I even saw on a guys video took a screen shot of the web page a year ago and it was $389.00 and he says he got it in a few days ..... they have other one for $600 thats almost the same but a little shorter , so it wheelies too much ... but there in USA SO IT SAYS 3-8 BUISNESS DAYS ?????? You're always getting new people into the hobby man !!! So good . These 36cc rovan engines are savage as well . Blew the tire clean off my beadlock yesterday. Now it's running on some bright orange stock 5t wheels until my new set comes . Awesome video as always mate 👍
These buggys are bad ass! I've only ever had 1/10 scale until I got my rovan buggy. I like the fact that you don't need a glow plug igniter and I can go to the gas station to get fuel for them.

Honestly ... i couldnt have said it better ... he is a wonderful guy, extremely knowledgeable, and willing to help ... but 2 things he does (not sure if he even knows he does it) he doesn't know when its time to hand over the remote to a new RC owner ... and he has a bad habit of unboxing someone's knew pride and joy ... but every 5 seconds keep stealing there thunder and talking about and showing one of his own projects or ideas ... and telling the poor new customer, you should get this, you should get that and should do this. He means well, he really does ... but I find he dont like loosing the spotlight ... even when it someone else's turn to have it for a bit.
I’m assuming you went through a couple of heat cycles before driving it like that wide open. It should idle fine at stock settings then adjust the high and low.
Idle screw should never be that far in. That far in creates vacuum which is why it kept dying. The idle screw needs to be at the point where it's just started to move the butterfly. The idle is set by the low speed needle.

@@jacobbearden1123 your carburetor is set to rich still . Did you finish breaking in your new engine yet ? You must do that first !! Do a few heat cycles then just run the engine rich like the way it is now then after a few tanks or the 1st 1 gallon of fuel is finished you can start to lean out very little at a time your high speed needle if you want it to sound and feel better at wide open throttle. You must listen 👂 and look at how it performs. If your engine stalls a lot ? Do not raise your idle screw just lean your low speed needle until it can idle but remember you have a 2 stroke engine Not a 4 stroke so it’s not a engine to idle for to long it wants RPMs so cylinder can clear out fuel mixed with oil so spark plug don’t foul up . If you need more help ? Get me on Instagram and I’ll help you best there . Just a heads up , I am very busy and I get lots of messages daily but I will eventually get back to you .
Did you adjust your end points on your remote after installing your breaks ? You must go over everything and also make sure you didn’t forget to use your break shims behind your break pads like most new people to the Baja platform do . Happened to me more then once back in the day when the first Hpi Baja came out and lots of people today for the Rovan and king motor and even Primal Dragster and Hybrids
There really good 👍 especially there 30.5 Engines and 32’s ! They scream and run well for a long time especially if you use the best oil mix like Amsoil Dominator racing 2 stroke oil . My friends 36cc that’s in this video still runs strong today . He is planning on upgrading the engine to a modified Bartolone Reedcase 32cc and keeping the stock Rovan 36cc piston port engine as a spare since it still runs very well .
I recommend FUTABA remotes & Receivers! This buggy is pretty quick bone stock. I would install a DarkSoul lightened Flywheel on the engine and start using a Zenoah style pull start on it then install a different intake manifold on it with a Bartolone Velocity stack and new airfilter and then replace exhaust to the Bartolone side mount exhaust but the torpedo version on it and then a DDM 9,500 clutch spring and that Rovan 36cc Baja 5B will be bad ass for a stock internal engine
Think of it like a water nozzle! Left to open up and right to close it up ! Very easy brother . Just keep an eye 👁 on smoke not to much but once in awhile and especially listen 👂 to the sound of your engine

Exactly it all depends on the model you get . Just start out somewhere then you can learn off of the engine that comes with it then later on you can always slap 👋🏼 in a bad ass Bartolone 32 or 34 ReedCase engine or even a better priced more affordable piston port engine But nothing like a ReedCase engine!
I would never use amsoil anyway redline is the best two stroke oil it burns cleaner DA Australia recommend it even showed a expensive brand of oil to the same or more price red line and the red line piston run engine was cleaner lol the other oil made the piston black you don’t want carbon build up ok 👌 it produces the least amount of carbon vs other oil including dominator
I used to use redline 😂 but now I upgraded to Amsoil dominator because only I would have to rebuild my modified Yamaha banshee twin engine every year and with the dominator oil it’s been 3 years ! I used to drag race ATVs at the dunes . My modified engine cost over 7,000 dollars 💵!! There is no way in hell I would go back to redline !! Red line is good enough for these little rc engines but if you want the best and you don’t care of cost ? You must use Amsoil dominator oil
Yea but a plane rc engine like the 120cc or 150cc or 220cc i mean how can you make that argument for a little cheap 29cc on my rc ile probably let the thing blow up since its cheaper to buy a new weed eater engine for it diffeet oils work best for certain applications I think you should test and see what works and dont like test red line for a year in a running engine then test something else then see the difference
