Okay, my wife and I just got turned on to this series, and binged washed the entire first season in 4 days. We loved it. Absolutely hooked! Why haven't I heard of this series before? Just an incredible fantasy adventure. WHAT A RIDE!

I just started watching and I’m obsessed!!! Such a great series, so many twists and turns, screamed at my phone so many times, teared up! Ugh

I watched Outlander 2014 when it came out and met some actors and actresses on Conventions during the following years. But I stopped watching it for about 4 years and in 2018 I continued and realized that 3 new seasons were out without realising it. I‘m so happy I watched it when it came out but sad I lost sight. I‘m back!

I watch this season three times and read the book twice. I watched season two but stopped to read the second book...but stopped both, so disappointed I gave up because it’s an incredible series. Started to watch season 2 to recap myself and to prepare for the next 3,4,5

I loved this show. My husband refused to watch. He fought me over it. I said, Just watch 1 episode. He agreed. Then he said, OK, we can watch 1 more & more & more. Now he's the fanatic about when the next season starts. He even had our DNA done. The Pollock is a Scot too. haha

You should read the books. When her last one came out there was still a two week waiting list at the library.

I feel bad for Frank. He was a good guy forced to compete with a damned romance novel. When you see a rack of romance novels in the supermarket for sure the cover of one them will have a woman standing next to an Adonis in a kilt on a windswept brae.

*Spoiler * I just watched season 1, they went to far with the rape scene in the last two episodes. Dont think I will continue even though the I like this series.

@@lermabenedicto1107 Thanks, it was a rough one. I ended up skipping the sceen and I am in the middle of season 2. I guess I will skip over any scenes that are uncomfortable because I am in too deep. 😬

I agree. The soft porn was a surprise, and Sam is so gorgeous that it was ok with me. GAY PORN? Hated it.

Oh for the love of Mary, it's a fantasy adventure and their gayness will not rub off on you through the television screen. You miss a lot of the emotional weight of later scenes if you fast forward through parts that make you "uncomfortable", IMHO.

@Nevie, I see your point, I suppose. I guess some us have a harder time of distinguishing true life from what they see on a TV screen. For those folks, yes, please, do not watch anything that may desensitize you to the horrors of rape and torture. It's good to know one's own self. For me, watching how Randall broke Jamie down through pain (breaking the bones in his hands with a hammer), then psychologically (threatening to torture and kill the woman he loves in front of him), then forcing him to stay in one spot while continuing his sadistic acts (nailing his crippled hand to the wooden table), and after all of this- the bastard makes love to Jamie, well that took Jamie's emotional state to a whole new level of horror. He doesn't forcibly rape the man, he is gentle as a lamb with him during the sex... Holy Christ, this wins Blackjack Randall the all time sickest villain award in cinema history as far as I am concerned. So, if you think you can judge Jamie as a "Cuck" in season 2, then it just goes to show you how much of the emotional weight was lost on you when you skipped those scenes.

They have English accents all wrong. The English people did not sound the way they sound nowadays. The used to sound more like the way Americans sound now at least like most Americans sound now. I saw a documentary on how the English higher class began using the soft “r” instead of the hard “R” Americans use today. So the Americans didn’t lose their British accents, the British English people did.
