In these days of constant turmoil a question - who in Britain is authorized to launch nuclear weapons - is it the Prime Minister, is it the King, is it a combination of military leaders, is it a combination of all? In the States I know who is authorized but we never think about other nations who possess nuclear weapons .
Not sure what nuclear weapons have to do with the Royal Britannia or our video? But I think we all want peace and hopefully we never have to face or see a situation where use of such weapons is needed. #GivePeaceAChance :)
Has not the Royal Yacht Britannia been decommissioned for quite some time - she then is no longer consider the Royal Yacht Britannia but simply Britannia and is she owner by someone/some group and where is she docked?
You are correct, the Britannia was decommissioned in 1997. I don't think it is owned by anyone - maybe the UK Government or Royal Family. It is currently docked in Edinburgh and is open for the public. Its an amazing experience and highly recommended to visit.
@@TSY_TravelsThank you for you information - I watched when Britannia was decommissioned and saw the very sad lo0k on the late Queens face during the decommissioning - she dearly loved that ship - and she had so many great experiences on board her. That Britannia remains as a place to visit is great and I am happy for the British people (those who wish) can tour the ship - it really was a truly beautiful ship. Thank you.
@@rhh3582 yes we have heard about it as well and the exhibition has done a good job of preserving the Britannia and its memories so you do feel and realise that a family lived and spent time here and it was special in all aspects :)
nice video
Thank you 😊
