Tony, will your series on ZeroTier mentioned by you be available on this UA-cam channel? Given how popular ChromeOS is these days, I am particularly interested in how to remote into Chromebooks assigned to our students to help them with questions using them. This includes managing these loaners.

They're not "phoning home", they're getting around NAT. Without that, the system cannot work. ZeroTier just implements STUN/TURN in a way that is accessible to laymen who just want to get end-to-end connectivity working without needing technical knowledge or to rent/own and administer their own STUN/TURN server(s).
