Travelling through Thailand right now and watched this at the perfect time. Saved me about 25% of my available backpack space. Cheers from Chiang Mai! 😊

I've been stuffing socks and undies, even tank tops into shoes forever BUT I never thought of putting the clothes intor plastic bags. Genius. I'd say newspaper bags or doggie poop bags would work really well. Thank you, great video!

I have been using this method for years. Good tip about the stretching. There are certain things I don't roll such as dress shirts. Although with dress shirts I have never been able to get the roll right anyway LOL

With everything rolled in 1, you need the things inside first so it might be awkward.

A ranger roll for shirts and pants makes perfect sense. But a small micro-fiber towel & underwear which both fold small and flat to begin with seams to be an unnecessary waste of time to be honest. Also ranger rolling your clothes before putting them in the packing cubes gives you more room to stuff clothes into it.

I totally agree, socks and undies are kinda pointless - I just cram mine into the smallest size packing cube. I just included them to be complete in case people were interested 😇

Any suggestions on how to roll a long sleeve button up short? It is a "travel" shirt with non-wrinkle quick dry material (slippery). Thanks!

Especially if the bottom hem is not straight, like lots of "dress" shirts designed to be tucked in.

So the flap-pouch is on both sides at the beginning, but it ends up only in one side at the end

Yeah it's really only needed on one side, but it's just easier to fold both sides over so everything is even and flat

Great tip. Is the downside to creating the single packet with shirt, underwear and socks that when you unroll it, things kind of fall out everywhere?

    • @ProjectUntethered

That could be a downside, but that's not the one I was thinking. Let's see if someone else can guess it 😜

So if you gotta bring a formal dress and satiny pants, let's hope the steam in the hot shower works😂

Hahaha if you can pull it off with a formal dress, please let me know!

I bring travel size spray bottle of wrinkle release. If you can't find travel size, pour some in a small spray bottle found with travel size things in store.

I cannot see how you are folding the clothes within itself into the pouch, the shot cuts away too quickly. Please keep the camera fixed on when you are completely folding for future videos :(
